This safe is exactly what I needed and expected. Multiple locking features such as keyboard, electronic card and standard key if you forget the combination or when the batteries run low. The display also indicates when the batteries require replacing. While the description states 0.04 cu ft, in reality the interior is 10x larger (0.4 cu ft).
It was a Christmas present for my son and he was happy. He said it was the best gift he received.
Harrahs Tahoe and abroad uses these safes for there guests...Very easy to use..priced great..win/ win.. in my book.
works great, delivery was a bit long but worth the wait.
Safe is exactly as advertised. This is my second one that I use in my Airbnb's.
Works as described. Does the job well.
Happy with the safe.It meets my expectations. I deducted 1 star for the instructions!! It might be just me but I think they could be easier to follow.
I bought this to provided sales employees a safe place for cash taken after hours until it can be receipted by a cashier the next day. This has hotel room safe programming available so that it is normally kept open. When cash is put in safe, the user inputs a 3-6 digit code so the combination is set each time it is used. No one else knows the new code, all other codes are invalid. The next day that user inputs the new code and the door opens. This is perfect for this use as no other code previously input will open it. It does have a customized master code you set for management to use if needed. It also has a key that will open it in an emergency. The neat feature is a user can use any credit card to lock and open the safe, the credit card used to lock it disables any previous card so only that card will open it. All of this is good. The issue is that you can set up a override card for management to use, therefor a bad actor employee can set up an override card without anyone knowing, overriding the management default card. That person can then open the safe when locked by another employee. The procedure is described in the operation manual available on the web, so it would not take much effort or research for a bad actor employee to figure this out. The Management code cannot be changed like this. In my application this was a deal killer so I returned the safe. If in a more controlled environment this is probably not an issue. Other than this issue, the safe is great, well made and exactly what I was looking for.
Safe was received before we had expected that was good on removing from packing the right and left and along the front the coating was bubbling and peeling. I went on line printed a on line return and returned it to my local Walmart.
Received repackaged broken safe. Would not turn on and battery cover was already broken. Returned asap.
