Metabo C10FCGM 10 in. Compound Miter Saw

Glad I purchased this machine. I am actually downsizing my tools. I had a complete woodworking shop with some big tools. I sold all my equipment and started purchasing small size to save in space. The Metabo HPT is a great product for the price. does everything I need it to do . I even cut some aluminum to make some window screens, of course I changed the blade for one that cuts non ferrous material. The product works exceptional well and it is very accurate. I will replace the 24 teeth blade for a 60 teeth blade but the one with the machine works just fine for the time being. I have no regrets. Another advantage is it's weight....I can easily move around as necessary. It is not cumbersome. If there is something that I do not like is the green color....But I am getting use to it.

This is just what I needed for a large project at my home. I wanted more precision than I get with my circular saw, and I knew Metabo would deliver for all my tasks. Light wt. and really well made, just like my Hitachi nail guns I have counted on for several years. This saw gives me all I need, and is more than enough for my carpentry skills. Price and reputation always bring me back to Metabo. I have never been disapointed.

Made with High Quality Material. The Saw has a Very Powerful Motor and is Quiet. I Love the Light Weight and the Size is Perfect and still has a 10” Cut Blade. This C10FCG 10" Compound Metabo HPT miter saw is an affordable high quality product with the power of the big ones. The assembly instructions are well written especially to the precise miter degree adjustments. Perform each step to completion before going on to the next, hand testing to line markers as you go for complicity, base saw plate included. . Doing so will preclude any initial operative dissatisfactions The lighter weight of the saw still has the ability to hold its own on standard trim work; and for heavier construction pieces the four corner bolt-down openings are at your convenience. One can purchase a PVC elbow for the exhaust port to excel its performance in a number of ways. The cost, quality and warranty of this unit make it a considerable assurance for getting the best competitor in its field. I'm pleased with it because I can see it will flawlessly continue to do what I expect.

Very nice compound miter saw for the price. Cut square out of the box. It also came with an extended fence and a clamp for ease of cutting. I used it for framing a 10 foot x 12 foot greenhouse. It did everything I wanted it to do. A good saw if you're on a budget. Recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used my saw once so far but seems to work fine for my projects. The dust bag is rather thin and some dust does get out. Might want to think of something different depending on where you're using it.

I have been only been using this saw for a few weeks, and I am very pleased. It will be a while before I can comment about its durability, but for less than $100 on sale, outstanding. I can't comment on angle accuracy, I always use digital gauges to set precise angles (table saw too). The sawdust collection bag is useless, I don't know if sawdust collection is any better in bigger or $$$ saws; maybe a dust collection hose would improve it.

I moved from a home with a full detached 20x20 wood shop . Had to sell all of my tools as the condo I moved into has the small version of a 2 car garage. I needed this saw to at least recover the ability to perform small household chores. Luckily, I found this saw on sale for an even better buy. I've had several Hitachi tools in the past and have always been well pleased. This tool is no exception.

Like everything about it, especially the price, but I deducted 1 star because the blade brake needs to stop the blade faster than the 4-5 seconds it takes. My previous miter saw (30+ years old) stopped the blade in less than 1 second. I think 4-5 seconds is a safety issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw cannot make a straight cut long wood more than about 6 inches due to its limitation. I am a DIY beginner. I should buy a table saw. I should buy a miter with a laser guide so that I would not overlook the thickness of the blade. In terms of reliability and moneywise the product itself is worthwhile for a simple job.
