I like the weight and the way it feels in your hand. It doesn't seem to walk all over the place when using. I have not had a chance to use it much since I got it, but for what I have used it for it has worked great. It looks to be on par with the other Metabo HPT tools that I have and love. Truly look forward to using this tool more. It will be my go to sander. I have a Bosch and DeWalt of the same size and I this one edges them out as my favorite.
Nice sander. Easy to adjust speeds. My only issue is the rubber adapter for attaching a vacuum hose is not quite long enough and sometimes comes off.
Worked better than expected. We had 16 2x8x12 rough cut cedar to sand. zit did amazingly.
I can't imagine why I used a 4" pad and mouse sander for so long. The orbital sander rocks and removes a lot of surface quickly with no marks. Removes stain and old finishes like magic. Makes quick work of sanding new pine lumber for staining. I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Building book cases out of ash for my twin granddaughters, the sander works great. Easy to hold and control After using for awhile my hand is not tinging like other sanders that I have used. Would recommend this sander .
Have used the sander several times now and it performs just as well as the expensive name brand sander it replaced. I especially liked the extra long power cord. Time will tell if it will hold up as long as the more expensive name brand, which failed after 3 years.
Let me start with why I bought this sander. After years in the woodworking industry some of our sander are getting worn out. I have bought other Metabo tools and really happy with them. So this sander is of a great weight and design for comfort. Enough power to sand anything we sand. A price that works with any budget. The one thing that really stood out with me and employees is the nice 10 foot long cord. Now to why its only a 4 star rating. Although the dust collector works great at catching most of the dust if you sand in the vertical plane ( side of something) the dust collector falls off a lot. There also seems to a problem with sanding flat horizontal surface's, the sander want's to walk or slow wobble. We have not given up on this sander as we want to replace other sanders and hoping these problem are something we can work with
Very good quality for the price, it works very well. Minor complaint : Its a bit noisy, the dust bag can be smaller, and easy to fall off while operation.
Great little sander, dust bag works well, the only issue is that the power switch is a little awkward to push, as it's recessed, so it's well protected
I love Motobo tools and it's pretty much all I have for cordless tools. This sander does a great job of sanding but the dust collection attachment is HORRIBLE. It will not stay attached to the sander whether using the bag or my shops dust collection system. Motobo either needs to re-design the attachment point or create a clip to hold it on.
