Metabo HPT 7-1/4-In Circular Saw Kit, 15-Amp, C7SB3

This saw was exactly what I needed. Light weight, easy to adjust and powerful. I replaced an aging Porter Cable that was heavier and harder to adjust.

I have never owned or even used a circular saw before, so I did a lot of research before buying one. I looked at the reviews, compared prices, and felt that the Metabo saw suited my needs and my budget. I am very impressed with the quality and the performance, and it is surprisingly lightweight. I am a small woman and a senior citizen and I am very pleased with how easy it is to carry and use.

Very well-built circular saw! Excellent start button; smooth operation! I bought a new blade (for finer cuts), and installing it was easy! (First time I ever installed a new blade on a circular saw!)

The C7SB3 7-1/4 circular saw is such a big upgrade from my 30 year old Skil-Saw. Its much lighter, cuts so much smoother and quicker. I use it mainly to deconstruct pallets and its doing a much better job. Its so much easier to change blades and its easier to handle. I would highly recommend anyone who's considering buying a new circular saw to purchase this saw

I was actually surprised I purchase this saw because I'm doing flooring in my home. it came out great didn't give the wood cut didn't end up with splinters in the end of it each cut.. Cut cleaning and steady, great price point and was reliable for me...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Metabo saw had good reviews and i needed a new one so i gave this a try. It has a very comfortable grip, and much less vibration than saws I've owned in the past. It blows the sawdust out of the way efficiently and is accurate on its line. I also like the cord holder at the back of the saw which effectively keeps the cord out of the way. Its definitely a saw I would recommend. Its an excellent value for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw seems well balance with plenty of power. It is an excellent value compare to higher priced saws. I have a couple of other Hitachi made products which is now Metabo and have not been disappointed with their performance. I will have to see if I miss the longer cord which my stolen Ridgid had but that is what extension cords are for. It seems to be accurate thus far.

My 25 yr old Sears Craftsman just couldnt cut straight anymore as the motor bearings had wornout. As a small poultry farmer, I needed something powerful enough to cut oak 2x4s and cut them straight so we could put up tin on some chix coops. This saw fits the bill.

Lightweight and the base is very stable, glides really well along a cutting fence. The only thing I don't like is the dust kick out chute, should have routed the dust more towards the back instead of to the side right into your face, will probably order the optional dust chute to see if that helps
