Metabo HPT 7-1/4-In Circular Saw Kit, 6,800 RPM, C7UR

I had to return my light green magnesium bodied 7 1/4 saw by hitachi because it was built defective. The arm that was used to increase and decrease depth of cut was crooked inside housing and did not bend into place. Instead, after 6 months of use the housing began to crack because of the crooked arm. I exchanged that model for this RIPMAX Hitachi and it has done much better and feels better. It is faster, stronger, and does not have any defects. Thank you very much Hitachi, now Metabo tools!!

I have owned and used numerous circle saws in my 58 years in construction, mostly well known brand names and this saw outperforms all of them. For the price it is a real bargain. It performs better than saws costing much more. I can't say anything about durability yet since I have only made about 250 cuts on 2 x 6 lumber and about 30 on 2 x 12 so far. It is a little heavy, however, that is acceptable based on its performance.

Works great. Used this to cut a lot of 2x4s, 2x6s, and even ripping plywood. This saw operates smoothly and has plenty of power to cut through most lumber. Has a lot of little features that come in real handy! I would definitely buy another one and even considering switching to Hitachi for all future power tools! Highly recommended.

This is a replacement saw for me I'm not a professional but this has more power and is easier to cut straight then old saw really happy so far

Phenomenal power and cutting speed. If you don't want to deal with planned battery obsolescence, this is an absolute cutting machine. Good enough to restore your faith in power tools and a great price to boot. In short, highly recommend.

Product provides good visibility for the cut line to the blade. The high speed worked great for cutting engineered marble with a diamond blade.

I love my new Metabo circular saw. It's has the power that I want to rip through the material for my project. I love the marker to show you where you cut will be. Overall it is a great work tool for all your project at home.

It's pretty frustrating to have a brand new product go out on you like that it just didn't make sense I've had products purchased off the counter that are known to be cheap and not reliable and they've lasted longer than the circular saw. So after Exchanging it for a new order a help texchanging it for a new so so far I've had no troubles with the same saw. Don't get me wrong the circular saw does what is intended to do and it does it very well and I am happy with the circular saw, however it's dust blower function is not all that it's cracked up to be. I'm a type of worker that looks on the side to the right where the blade shows the most while I'm cutting so that I can get a Schrader angle versus using the guide. The guide is off by about a quarter of an inch to the left. So it's not reliable for me to use. The desk floor function when I am looking to the right of the Blade does not work and I always have which chips blasting into my eyes and on my face because of it. Overall, this circular saw does what it's intended to do but it just wasn't all that it was cracked up to be personally.
