You can’t go wrong with this Brad nailer. I’m a fanboy of metabo products anyways. The nailer is very easy to use thanks to its light weight, dial in depth adjustment and the push in actuation switch for rapid fire of the nails. The rubber no-mar tip minimizes dents in my projects. I didn’t get one jam during my entire day of use.
My old Craftsman nailer blew a seal and no parts available. I have several electric Metabo tools, so I decided to try the nailer. Nice balance, comfortable in your hand and a good spread on nail sizes. Very pleased with my purchase.
Haven't used it very much. So far, it seems to be pretty good. One thing I am impressed with is that right out of the box it drove nails to the perfect depth. That will probably change with different materials and nail length. The only thing I would suggest to make it better is to include one or two extra nose caps.
My Metabo came soon after I ordered it.. light weight but seems sturdy enough… the depth adjustment was sticky at first but works freely now.. it does the job nicely.. case was ok but no room for nails so had to remove the goggles to fix that issue.. I have plenty of goggles around my shop so it’s no big deal.. and the price was right..
Just built 20 birdhouses w this & it worked perfectly. My first nail gun & I couldn't be happier. Will add Finish & Metabo Pin Nailers soon!
This is a very nice nailer. My old nailer died mid-project so I found this nailer as a quick replacement. It performed flawlessly for me. I shot about 500 nails with zero misfires. Loading is easy . The feel is excellent. It comes with so very nice case . Can’t beat it!
Works great. Have found many uses for it. Also have the pin nailer. Both excellent tools.
This nailer is well constructed, lite wheight and does a great job.
good price for item, shipped and received in a timely matter. I was surprised to receive the item and find that the manufacturer does not include a starter supply of brads. It would be nice to have a few included so the buyer could use the item when received, if for nothing more than to confirm that the nailer works,
Beware. I read all of the reviews before buying this gun. They were all pretty positive from DIY'ers to Pros. I was on the fence between this and another gun but since my local big box store only had this one, I went with it. Got it back to the shop, set it up per the manual and began my project. What should've taken me 30 - 40 minutes to complete took an hour and a half. I have never had a gun jam as many times as this one. I thought maybe it was the brads I was using but they were from the same company as the gun. I went back to using it a few days later and I didn't experience any jams on that project so I'm not sure if it was just a break in period or what. Time will tell.
