This triple hammer impact driver takes on all the tasks that I've asked it to do whether it's driving screws or tightening/loosening nuts. It is fast and powerful while being quieter than other drivers I've used. The ergonomics in my opinion are better than any other tool I've owned. The different modes are easily selected and seem to help with the particular task (screwing or wrenching)
It has to be the most ergonomic and smoothest impact I have used. I own a Ryobi Impact and have used both Milwaukee and Makita in my everyday life and the feel in hand is unmatched. It may not be quite as powerful as Milwaukee but I don't need it to be.
I love this impactl it's got plenty of torque and drives dozens of 10 timberlock screws without any hesitation. One thing that really made me upset is when I bought it there was a free battery promotion offer written on the display sign in the store and a QR code for a free 5.0 battery in the box. But when I scanned the QR code Metabo site said it's not offering that promotion anymore. Where's my free 5.0 battery that was offered when I bought it Metabo? I hope your tool warranty guarantee is true unlike the Free 5.0 battery that I was supposed to get when I bought this tool.
Came upon this deal from the big box store where it came with a roofing nailer. First time trying out a Metabo HPT impact and I must say it feels very well balanced. It wasn't heavy at all and felt great in my hands. Definitely will purchase more Metabo HPT tools in the future. After using this tool I started researching more of their tools and am impressed by what I saw and read. I can't wait for their 2026 line up of nailers. I saw them on YouTube and definitely going to try them out.
The multi volt hpt wh18dbdl2 impact is super smooth and comfy to hold the bit spins so smooth no play or wobble in the bit it starts a 3and4 inch screw faster than my DeWalt seem like to me I have yet to strip a head or have a bit try and free spin from wobble it bust automotive bolts loose nicely and has a adjustable speed setting I'll be a metabo guy for life now and did I mention the lifetime tool warranty what other high quality cordless company offers that make the switch to there 18/36 volt multi volt line of tools and screw off for life while being protect from the elements with a ip56 rating
This impact driver is a beast, and with the small body of the impact, easy to get in smaller places. This is my first Metabo tool and I love it!
Excellent product, great ergonomic feel. Plenty of power. Easy to use.
I have been using Hitachi impact drivers for years now, I started with the 12V but now have the 18V. I call this product the ninja in the market because it's not as popular in the professional industry as some of the other brands. However I have been more than satisfied every time I purchase Hitachi power tools. I recommend this drill to everyone, it's comfortable and powerful, even control able for those tedious jobs. If I had to give one improvement it would be the trigger sensitivity. It could be a little more sensitive meaning I would like the drill to respond as soon as I squeeze the trigger. This trigger will travel slightly b4 the drill operates. But this is just me being extremely picky. All n all its a great drill.
In 2013 I bought a like unit it lasted till 2019. Very happy with it so I bought another this month to replace it. I liked the older one better it seamed heaver built, but cost to much to be repaired.
Broke after one job in cold weather it cracked from falling off 8ft ladder got it as a gift just last month
