grandson will love it
He is nine and loves to put things together. He is very smart.

Good for your "older" kid!
While I have not opened this model, since it was purchased as a gift, I've ordered this company's models before. They are definitely for an "older" child but that's because pieces are smaller and more challenging. The last one, a train that I purchased for a 50-something kid was a big hit, so I have no qualms about this one!

Stay away from this
I hate this. It doesnt look like a model kit at all! Bought for my grandson for Christmas and now I have to look for an ACTUAL car model kit.
