I am satisfied with this Collector's Edition. Game is great, and all the collectibles you are getting are of good quality, except the Snake figure in the diorama. It is ok, but could use better detail. Everything else with the diorama looks great. Overall, I'm a Metal Gear fan, and I'm happy with my purchase.
The game is amazimg even with some technical difficulties. The collector's item are good. The plants are flimsy and Snake lookes wierd but they are very small.
Packaging looks great and the details really stand out. The game itself runs smooth and brings back all the nostalgia I was hoping for. Definitely worth it regardless of if you are a MGS fan or not. 10/10
I'd recommend this for a Metal Gear Solid fan. It's a good remake of a game I love. The extras are a meh . Online forums are saying how bad the snake figure is but I found it good. But for the price the terrarium should have been much cooler or at least have living things in it. You have to untangle and place the plants, and the adhesive isn't good. All in all , I don't regret it but it was a gift to myself. In the past Konami has had some kick butt collectors editions, this one of a solid B-. For a game of this esteem, it could and should have been better.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my nephew who is a huge Metal Gear fan. I will say, I am very glad I was able to purchase one so close to release date (HUGE thank you to walmart.com for restocking inventory) but the detail on Naked Snake in the diorama is very, very disappointing. The box, the art, the patches, the ID, the game itself are all amazing but the diorama is a real let down. I've seen the UK and Asia collector editions with the Naked Snake bust and vinyl record and would have loved to have been able to purchase that one in the US, instead. Again, I am very happy I was able to secure a Collector's Edition, especially as a gift for a huge fan, before another reseller did. On the plus side, having a physical game copy in this bundle is very much appreciated over a digital copy like the Death Stranding 2 Collector's Edition. I wish I could give this 5 stars, but the diorama knocks off a star. I considered giving it less but the game itself deserves way more than 5 stars. Great remake with such a big effort to keep it as close to the original Snake Eater game as possible while giving modern playing options that can be turned on or off, which is awesome.
Not enough protective packaging, just shipped in a box, bottom of the product had a puncture, stickers all over the product that left damage when removing. Dings and damage to the box lessened the collectors value.
The game itself is pretty good. There ate some slowdown and some areas where it just doesn't look as nice even on a PS5 Pro. The collector's edition itself is really poorly made, it's very low quality and is made of extremely cheap quality materials. Definitely not worth the money.
The Metal Gear Solid Δ Collector's Edition packs neat lore-based items like the terrarium, patches, and retro case, but the build quality—especially the Snake figure and moss—feels cheap. Fun for hardcore fans, yet overpriced compared to other regional editions.
I was excited to get this collectors edition, for $200 it is not worth that at all. The diorama looks like it was made by Temu, the figure of snake looks like it was 3d printed gone wrong. The only good thing about it was the steelbook. It sold out everywhere which is surprising. I have a feeling it's going to be returned a lot and repurchased at a discount.
Total fan, however unbeknownst to me. When package was delivered then gifted to someone else. The box was open and retaped the persons who handled the package took out snake.
