Definitely contractor grade
This shovel is quality material. Ive broken shovels before but I dont think thats going to happen with this one. It is wider than a regular shovel and has an aluminum strip on the edge. A couple things to note, the aluminum strip makes it scrape very loudly and it does require more effort to throw snow as it is bigger.

Oh Fooey
Not sure how well it works. It arrived yesterday and the nut will not go far enough down the bolt to secure the handle to the shovel. Now I have to run to the hardware store. I should always buy already assembled.
