Metallica - And Justice For All - Music & Performance - CD

I bought this CD Metallica for my Grandson. This is from my era. He has not stopped playing it yet. I have convinced him to start playing guitar. I got my oldest Grandson into playing guitar to keep it alive in my family. So far my %232 can play 2 songs from the Metallica CD. He's so amazed that I not only listened to this music but I also saw METALLICA in concert. I told him that I wasn't always old, lol.

This is PEAK Metallica. “AJFA” and justice for all is Metallicas 4th album coming off the great “Master of puppets” album. This is a great album, and great showcasing and maturing for the band. I believe of the first legendary 5 albums this one truly showcases their growth the most noticeably as far as technicality, and for all the talk about Lars.. I think his skills are the sharpest they've ever been/sounded on this album. And even with the lack of bass controversy it's still stood the test of time to become a legendary album. Overall it's a must for any Metallica fan, or heavy metal fan.

When I was a wee lad, I recall my sister getting this on cassette tape back when they were a thing and of course I noticed the art as any boy would. Of course I was missing the message in face of the art of the album cover, I also managed to miss in my earlier review that this was the first album Metallica had with Kirk Hammett though still in the heart of their Thrash days along with the big four during the late 80s when metal challenged the ridiculous trend of glam who dialed 'sex, drugs and rock'n'roll' up to eleven while missing the point of playing rock or metal. I daresay this album regardless the times was noticing divisions and what not in our country already starting to form primarily amongst the youth while it was mostly party based at the time, the tumor of divisions would grow to where they are today and amongst it would be the smog of hypocrisy, the plague of discrimination and worse. Most of all the album I believe asks, do we devise the undoing of our unity? Do we allow tribalism to replace our ability to come together? The album is great like all their stuff prior to Load where they erred from the heart of Metallica but the message of each album is more than food for thought, it asks us concerning questions, what will we answer?

As Advertised. Good to hear Metallica again when they were actually Metallica..after black it all went south.

This is a metal classic. Walmarts price for the cd is great. It's nice to have a hard copy of my music. I'll listen to this one over and over. I recommend this cd.

This Metallica album is great, but my review is focusing on the product itself. Personally I enjoy more jewel cases (although they are easy to break), and this is why I won't give this 5 stars, because this doesn't feel it will last very long (it is cardboard after all). I'm giving 3 stars because, if priced cheap enough, this is worth it to complete your collection. The CD and booklet are inside the cardboard sleeves.
