Metallica - Kill Em All - Music & Performance - CD

Here is where Metallica began before the Big Four Thrash happened, many underground metalheads called this the golden days of metal music. Now those underground metalheads are cynical old timers bemoaning how the grandest ones eventually survive long enough to sign a major record label and leave their best selves behind. Metallica, however, cleverly created Blackened Recordings thus going independent to show their underground sound isn't dead, just evolved and any giant record labels they worked with have been tossed to the wood chipper as is proper of a 'metal warlord' instead of allowing those vultures into their Stronghold. As you enter, with the chorus greeting we all hold up the \m/ and shout 'All Hail Metal!!!' if we bear love for the genre.

You want heavy rock? This is it brother!!!

This Metallica album is great, but my review is focusing on the product itself. I personally prefer jewel cases (although they break easily), and this is why I'm not giving this product 5 stars. However, for the right price, this is well worth 3 stars. The CD and booklet come inside the cardboard sleeves (there is no plastic case).

Not a good debut album .

While I enjoyed the music, the sound quality on this is fairly poor. It claims to be remastered but I am really thinking it is not.
