I looked at several different brands of scaffolding before I purchased the Metaltech Safestack scaffolding system from Northern Tool. Without a doubt, this is the best, most secure scaffolding money can buy. I highly recommend this product to anyone in the construction industry, and best yet, the price from Northern Tool is better than the price from the manufacturer.

Have used wooden boards and occasionally leave then out as a DIY person. With time they weaken and subject to failing. I can now afford the luxury of a permanent solution, so my dream platforms come true. Metaltech offers a wide range of products now and are very innovative in the approach.

When I received my MetalTech Aluminum 7Ft platform I immediately put it to the test....It responded perfectly....the weight that was applied on the platform was at least the limit if not more...all concrete blocks...the MetalTech held and securely delivered with strength...I would recommend it to anyone who has a scaffold who needs a platform to stand on

This item works but due to it's design it is very difficult to move it on a tall scaffolding. There are bars that run across the bottom on each end that make it extremely difficult to "slide" it into position. The process itself is awkward, but when you are holding it above your head and trying to lift it and insert it into the next level the cross bars create a great interference and makes it very difficult to relocate. However, it can be done but other platforms to not have this cross bar on the underside at each end so they slide readily into place. This unit does not and you need to lift it up, move it appropriately, and then put it back down. Basically, works but very awkward on tall scaffolding.
