Drinking too much at first will give you a tummy ache. Also drink it right away. I mixed up a glass, got distracted, then came back to it 5-10 minutes later and it was like hello! It would have been a 5 star review if it didn't have chemical colorants in it.

My digestive system has its ups and downs so Metamucil has always been there to help get things regular and under control. I was interested to try the Meta Appetite Control since I have started exercising more and trying to get my diet under control. I am usually pretty good until evening time. That is when I crave snacks and tend to pig out!! Around that time, I drink a big glass of this and don't have the urge to snack anymore. It's great! It does keep me full & satisfied until bed time. The taste isn't bad but the drink does need to be finished rather quickly before it starts to thicken. (which isn't pleasant!) If I drink it TOO fast, it tends to make me a bit queasy so there is definitely some give and take for me. I try to drink it as quickly as possible but normally by the time I get to the bottom of the glass, it has thickened quite a bit. Still a good product that works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tastes fine, is a nice to change to drinking plain water....but it contains aspartame. I'm trying to eat cleaner and healthier and I don't like added chemicals. I'd rather just eat the real sugar than a chemical that has known side effects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try these but I'm not a huge fan of orange flavor but I tried it anyways a few times. I found that it would just get chunky and clumpy at the bottom of my water glass which was super gross. It wigged out my stomach so I never really noticed if there was any change to my appetite or not.

I thought I'd give this a go, as it seems easy to use and quick for on the go. It's easy to mix and the packets make it great for your bag, for while you're out or at work. Honestly, it did work well and I felt less hungry, but the product is gross. Not so much the flavor, since orange is orange, and hard to mess up. But the texture was the worst thing I've ever drank/eaten. It was so thick and just makes me gag. It even says on the package to not drink if you have trouble swallowing. Definitely listen, as it was thick and unpleasant. Works if you can get it down though.
