Metra 82-3002 Aftermarket Speaker Bracket Adapter for General Motors 1995-2014

These fit right in the front doors of my suburban. The only thing was, I had to cut off some of the tabs. I checked with the speakers I pulled out, and the slots in the door to make sure I got the right ones, and just scored the unnecessary ones a few times with a utility knife, then they just popped off. Very easy and I didn't have to drill into my doors.

I bought these adapters because the original mounting bracket broke. There are no instructions but it can fit a wide possibility of configurations. There are a lot of "pre-drilled" holes so almost any speaker can fit. it just takes some time to figure how it will work best for you.

The bracket was nice. It fit perfect in the front doors of my Yukon... However, with a pair of Boss speakers and a Pair of Kenwood.. Neither speaker fit int the bracket. However, Pioneers did.. The bracket is good, but not all speaker manufactures are the same. So, its a hit or miss if they will actually fit. (I was using 6.5") The ring on the bracket was to small or the speakers were too big.. Like I said, the Pioneers fit perfect. If they don't work for you, just drill the speakers into the door. There is plenty of room and you wont hurt anything. Due to the fact I don't know who is wrong on the size is why I gave 3 stars. But the bracket with Pioneers would be 5 stars.

Tried 2 sets of 6.5 speakers, Memphis Audio M Class 6.5 and Rickford Fosgate P1675. Neither fit or even came close. i tried to trim either to work but just destroyed the brackets in the process. self tapping it is.
