I made it work, but the kit does not have a large enough opening to fit a standard size aftermarket stereo. I filed down the main bezel, thankfully the stereo I used did not have a cd, or tape deck, so it was very light, and could be pressure fit. Couldn't even use the cage that came with the radio.Had to break off a ton of tabs, they made it for too many different vehicles. at the end of the day, the job is done, and looks good.

It was junk. Didn’t fit in my truck and didn’t fit with 4 different stereos. Absolutely terrible

This kit is not only wasteful but also very flimsy. Basically you get ever installation kit there is in one for GM. Then you have to try and snip off the excess mounts without breaking the ones you need. These do not snap off like the old kits did. So you actually need to cut them off. Make sure they are completely flat as well as even if there is a tiny bit of plastic left over. It will interfere with the installation. Lastly, the outside trim is extremely flimsy and will break if not careful during installation. Thankfully, the radio I bought came with it's own built in trim. I would have honestly returned this kit if my radio didn't have it's own trim. Had this company offered an exact mount for my year truck / double din radio. It could have been half price as I didn't need most of what was included in the kit. Basically just a bunch of waste headed to the landfill for no good reason ( storage compartment for single din and flimsy trim). Honestly, I could have just trimmed off the original factory radio mounts to be the mount for the new radio.

Don't waste your time buying this. The mounting bracket (front bezel) for any DIN or Double DIN will be too narrow. I've installed dozens of car radios over the last 10 years, and I can tell you this was not manufactured correctly. You can "make it work" by cutting down the bracket, but you risk breaking it. I returned mine.
