Metroid Prime 4 is worth the 18 year wait. It's a true modern evolution of a legendary trilogy. The alien fauna, the beautiful yet unsettling music, interesting abilities %26 creatures all draw you in to keep playing to explore more and more. Graphically the most impressive feat on the Switch 2. Unlike the cramped eerie vibe in previous Metroid titles, Prime 4 delivers creepy atmosphere through wildly detailed sound effects from the mysterious planet and its habitants around you. Playing with surround sound headphones and I was constantly looking around to see where (or what) made that sound. Telekinetic abilities are just plain fun, who doesn't wanna curve a Samus Aran charge beam to thread the needle to hit bad guys? Play the game if you like video games. Especially give it a shot if you enjoyed Metroid Prime remastered or Metroid Dread.

So far this game is a 10 in my opinion. I'm not even bothered by Myles, I think he adds to the cinematic feel of the game. Don't know why people are giving this game lower scores because of that guy. The graphics are incredible, the gameplay is perfect and music is on point, best I've ever heard in a Metroid game.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit. It's the first in the series in 18 years, and I love the series. This one is more linear than the others, that's true, but it's still a fun game with great gameplay, graphics, and lots of upgrades.

Metroid is one of the franchises that I grew up with and I think that this game does it justice with the hardware the switch 2 has to offer. I enjoyed the story and on the switch 2 it runs great.

One is the best looking shooters I wasn't expecting to buy it so soon.But I'm glad I did it's one of Nintendo best looking games the game play is good as well the best Metroid since 3 it's a most have

As a Metroid fan whose been waiting for this game since its announcement back in the original Switch generation, I was very excited to finally experience it. While overall it looks and sounds beautiful (especially if you're playing on Switch 2), the game itself is... alright. While still a worthwhile entry to the Metroid series in my opinion, I don't think it lives up to the hype and excitement we had as fans. Nonetheless I would still recommend this title if you've been hesitant or if you're just looking for another title to play on Switch 2.

It was alright, mid. I played it to completion and had to 100% it just to unlock music on the bike in the desert. The large desert was very empty and the mindless grind for green rocks sucked. Outside of the beginning zone of the game, it felt very undercooked for something they took 8 years to work on. I gave it a chance because of the nuance of the development cycle but you'd be better off trying the Metroid Prime remaster.

Bought the Nintendo Switch 2 Version but received the Nintendo Switch 1 Version. I either have to return the game now or upgrade the cartridge. Disappointed for a $70 game to receive the wrong version.

Terrible story and plot. Incredibly linear with massive amounts of handholding. If you are a fan of the previous trilogy don't waste your money on this.
