Dependable metronome works well for years!
As a piano instructor for many years, I have purchased the Matrix Metronomes many times for my students as well as for my piano studio. The 9v battery lasts for at least one year or longer. They have gone up in price this year, but still well worth it!

Metronome Review
This metronome by itself is too loud. There is no sound control. So, I used the earphone it came with and hung it around my ear (not in my ear) to cut the sound down which works fairly well. If you are hard of hearing this is the metronome for you.
