[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like to stream a lot of food, form veggies to seafood to dumplings and found this Meyer accent series steamer the perfect addition to our 6.5 quart stockpot. Just like the pot, the quality is superb and the steamer insert fits our pot perfectly. Once the food has been steamed, removing the insert is very easy thanks to the grips that are very strong and comfortable. All in all, this is a very nice steamer, it works great with our Meyer pot and gets a perfect score from us.

Lets start with the construction of this special pan, the handles are very impressive, it appears as though they've been dipped or wrapped for a nice cool hold while draining or holding to stir. The one thing I wasn't aware of was that the cover for this had to be purchased separately, so that will definitely be my next purchase so I can try out the steamer insert that I got along with the pan too. So that I am excited & looking forward to, until then I will continue to use this to boil potatoes , macaroni & make stews because the way this pot heats so evenly, it is a must have for all kitchens. You can just tell by looking at this piece of art that it will be around for generations to come, stainless steel lasts forever if taken care of. The Meyer Accent Series Pot with Stainless Steel insert is none of those things. It's deep, 5 quarts, but it fits nicely together to store. The handles are easy to grip and don't get hot. Also, easy to clean. Highly, highly recommended!

I used it this weekend to make a batch of potstickers and they turned out perfectly! It was easy enough to insert the steamer into the pot and remove it when I was finished. The pot quickly heated up and the insert really holds a ton! I was to do all my potstickers in 2 batches. It's a great steamer! If you have the pot you need this too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Meyer Accent Series Stainless Steel Steamer Insert is a 5-quart sized steamer which fits well into the stockpot. It has two handles, one on each side. It does surprisingly fit a couple inches above the stock pot and is much larger than I expected. I can steam a lot more vegetables at the same time. It is easy to remove from the stock pot and doesn't seem to get stuck. The steamer holes are a bit larger than I'm used to so sometimes I lose small veggies to the stockpot, but it does work well.
