Meyer Silicone Kitchen Cooking Utensil and Tool Set, 4-Piece, Matte Black

living on my own for the first time and realizing i didn't have any kitchen tools was daunting. but these silicone tools have been exactly what i need to start my little kitchen collection. great look and feel, super easy to clean, and just look so dang sleek with my' essential' set in the binder and smoke colorway.

We have had our other ones break because they were too flimsy and they would snap. I've also been trying to switch out my plastic to silicone and these were perfect.

I like that the spatulas are a good length for picking up delicate items such as a fish filet without having to maneuver around the pan. The quality is excellent when it comes to the durability of the handles and strength, no bending or feeling like its flimsy in any way. I also like they have the holes to hang since I have a rack for hanging my kitchen utensils on the wall next to the stove for convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why haven't I been buying cooking utensils this good from the beginning?? They are weighted beautifully, everything cleans from them after using, and they have this cool little metal piece that sticks out so you can leave it in the pot or skillet and it not fall out. The spatula is really beefy. can stir anything with ease. The utensils don't scrape your pan, and they are heat resistant so they can really dig into the pan or skillet to lift the stuff that is maybe...burning. (I didn't say I was a great cook...) And the ladle. Oh laddie. You're my favorite. I honestly didn't know how fun you made cooking soup. I may use it like a spoon and eat half the meal before it's out of the pot. Especially my vegetable beef soup. The fish spatula (That's what I call it) Is better than those metal ones and I love to cook a nice fluffy cod or crappie on the skillet. Meyer has made me happy. These will stay in my kitchen probably a life time, unless my shady family ganks them when visiting... (Upgrade to GPS chips in the handle in the future! LOL)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping for so much better from these but was let down. While I do love the style and size, it's just not up to my expectations. I was hoping I could use these and throw away the old but unfortunately I can not. The spatula melts super easily! I was making grilled cheese and just to flip the sandwich over, the spatula was melting to the pan! No I wasn't holding the spatula on the pan for long periods, it was just a few seconds and I could see black going onto the pan.
