Mezzetta Pickled Red Onions, 16 fl oz Jar

The brand has great products but this one is exceptionally good! I uses it in salads of all kinds and especially on Red beans and rice. I'm native New Orleans and Red beans and rice without the pickled onions just didn't happen!! You will love these.

The Mozzetta brand is my favorite for these picked red onions. They are sweet and tangy with a nice crunch. Add them as a side to your dish or use them as a topper. They're great on hamburgers! If you like sweet pickles and red onions, you'll love these!

These pickled red onions are my new favorite condiment. They have the right balance of tanginess and sweetness, and the crunch is excellent. The 16 fl oz jar is a convenient size, and the onions maintain their flavor and texture for weeks after opening. Great for salads, burgers, tacos, or even charcuterie boards.

I forgot to make my own pickled onions so ordered these as a condiment to a barbecue party and it was a hit! The onions had great crunch. The flavor was a little bit sour and sweet great to cut through the fat of the brisket and ribs.

Fermented food it was very healthy for you. I put it on sub sandwiches and burgers. It goes well in salad. It's pricey, but do you really wanna slice and marinate?

If you are looking for the sweet taste that usually comes with these, don't bother, they aren't that great. I will mix them in with something to not waste them but overall they could do better on the taste. I usually like to use pickled onions on my salads to avoid using dressing and cutting back on the calories. At this point, I will just pickle my own.

I like this brand, I like red onions, and I like pickled foods, so I was surprised when I tasted these. I did not like these at all. They just weren't good. Like pickled eggs, pickles, pickled tomatoes, pickled okra. I put on my charcuterie board, and they were a total flop. Nobody liked them, and we are all huge onion eaters. Not sure what went wrong there, but the jar is going in the trash. So disappointing.

I wasn't able to try these because the jar I received was not sealed. It looked like it may have already been opened, so I didn't feel comfortable eating them. I'm sure the product might be good, but the packaging on mine was not secure when it arrived.

These are the first jarred pickled red onions I have ever bought. They were ok. I just didn't care for the flavor and texture. I am use to making cucumbers and onions with vinegar salt and water. So I think I will stick to making fresh onions I make .

This is the second jar we've gotten that was “off”. They were obviously not properly preserved. Guess we are making homemade pickled onions from now on.
