This seems to be the only brand that does not use added sulfites in their oil packed sun dried tomatoes. The sulfites keep the tomatoes looking pretty and red, sure, but who needs added chemicals! This product has NO chemicals. Bonus, this product comes packed in olive oil and not soybean or other oil that might or might not be good for you. No matter what one may think about oils, the general consensus is that olive oil is good for you. We have flirted with using dry packed sun dried tomatoes, even organic ones, but they are usually super salty (that's how they are preserved in absence of oil). We love this product. Thank you!
I love these sun-dried tomatoes, so delicious and unsulfured, which are so hard to find. They are a bit expensive, so unfortunately a rare purchase for me. I'd eat them every day if I could! Add to pasta, salad dressings, side dishes, even sandwiches!
I love sun dried tomatoes in an alfredo shrimp recipe I make. It makes me feel like a real chef to add them for some reason. The tomatoes are in an oil and I just blot them with a paper towel before adding them to the alfredo, they hold their shape when cooking and add a nice color. The taste is not strong, and the texture adds a little something firmer to a soft dish. Store in refrigerator after opening. They do not have a strong strange smell and are easy to use right out of the jar.
these sun ripe tomatoes came in bigger chunks than i hoped for. i had to cut them to my preferred size. they did cook nicely and taste good. they worked great in my marry me chicken recipe.
Nice to have on hand to add into a green salad(if you don't have fresh tomatoes available). Good in Pasta dish, Hot or Cold. Texture was fine. Taste, just fine, as well. Yes, I would recommend this product.
Didn't care for the flavor. A bit flat tasting. Not a lot of tang that I would expect in a sun dried tomato. Also the color wasn't as vibrant as other brands and the dish I made lacked that vibrancy.
They had no taste %26 were mushy. Actually they're the worst sun-dried tomatoes I ever bought. I don't recommend them maybe if you're cooked with them, but that would be the only thing worthwhile doing with them
Pop up seal broken, tomatoes look grey black in color. Will not buy again. Started a return with Wal-Mart home delivery and was told to bring item back to store for refund, don't have transportation which is why I had home delivery in the first place. Money in the trash.
Nasty bitter taste. This product ruined my family's dinner. DO NOT BUY! It says it's sun-dried tomatoes but it tastes more like bitter, oily, raisins.
These tasted fine, but once you open them and put them in the refrigerator, the oil gets hard and turns white. Impossible to get the tomatoes out unless you run under hot water or microwave for a while.
