we were able to assemble quickly. takes two people to assemble. easy instructions. love this grill after using it for 1 month. we love the side burner. when we have something like fish, broccoli, cabbage etc. we cook it outside on the side burner to avoid the stinky smell in the house.... game changer if you like these foods.
You should know this review is from a 78 year old former engineer who built robots and computer operated machines, etc. That said, the sealed shipping box is about 78 pounds and the assembly manual is 25 pages and well illustrated with parts numbered, however only 3 actual parts were labelled, all remaining parts you must figure out from the manual pictures. This grill consists of approx 38 separate pieces (plus hardware) and requires complete assembly except for the 4 main burners. The grill parts were well packed with no shipping damage except for the "stronger bracket" which is for shipping only and is labelled as "remove during assembly". It took about 2 hours just to unpack since it was packed so well with triwall cardboard, styrofoam, strapping etc plus boxes within boxes and the box said grill must be returned in original carton so I took care. All of the assembly screws, nuts washers are packed in hard blister plastic (approx 60 pieces) and you will need a very sharp razor to cut them out of the packing. If you can read and follow the descriptions and drawings, assembly is not difficult but will take time. I assembled this grill by myself over 5 hours on day one and about 3 additional hours on day two. ( I did have help lifting the main grill body onto the cart frame.) If you are willing to put in the time, I believe it is worth your effort. The grill is a quality product. All burners light off immediately using the iginition starter and flame is well controlled. The cooking grills are heavy and porcelain coated. The grill is attractive and cooks well. I have cooked burgers, hot dogs, brisket and chicken all satisfactorily. In summary, you would find it easier to assemble with a helper but I think the grill is a quality item and worth the price. Since it sits on 4 wheels (2 are locking), you will want to use it on a level surface or it will try to roll.
Easy to put together, easy to use, easy to clean. Looks fantastic, and we were able to cook an entire meal for our family of 4 on it without multiple trips inside. The side burner is extremely helpful so i don't have to go back and forth between kitchen and grill to stir the pot.
The barbeque came packaged well. The instruction book was clear and there were minimal amounts of screws to use when assembling. The assembly was very straight forward. My son and I assembled in less than two hours (and that included unboxing, reading the instructions, getting tools, and assembly). We took our time and it was super easy. The hardest part was removing the "stronger" to install the base to the grill. *Note the stronger was a support piece for shipping, that had to be removed so the grease tray would slide in. We didn't remove the stronger, but simply loosened the screws and slide it out of the way. Once the whole thing was assembled, the doors were not level, so I took the supplied wrench and adjust two wheels diagonally to get the door frame to square properly. I have to say the grill looks good. We cooked with it today and it turned out to work great. Overall a 10 of 10 experience for us.
I paid for the grill to be set up and it was delivered today in a box. Plus I had a place by garage and it's on the steps. I'm totally disable and can't even get it in the house. Now I have to find someone to help bring it in and assemble the grill. 😔
All the paint has almost all chipped off of it. We've only used it seven or eight times and the first three times on the left-hand side of the grill on the outside all the black paint just peeled off now all the interior paint is peeling off I have to scrape it so it doesn't fall into the food Not happy about that.
Received damaged and didn't notice until I started putting it together, 2 weeks later. Didn't want to mess with return unless it was inoperable. Straightened it up and moved on. The upper rack looks painted, don't know what it is for sure. Thought about just tossing it. I won't be direct contact cooking on it. Looks like they sell one grill under 4 different names.
If you are a very occasional grill person this grill is ok. If you are seriously planning a grill party or something where you will be using a couple days a week, I would seriously suggest you go for something a little higher quality. The heat is pretty inconsistent.
The catch pan is flat and only inches below the burners so no matter what you are grilling its a bonfire and theres no way to stop it. I had my grill with only 2 burners on and at the lowest setting, it was still a bonfire it ruined all the food and it happens within a couple minutes. Its every time i grill and its beyond annoying so ill be replacing this grill with something better asap. 0/10 dont recommend
the parts are not machined right. cant put the doors on because they are too short and a the bottom of the door cant be put together because parts are in the way of the screw hole anyways. the side shelf holes dont match up. the box was destroyed so i cant even return this but cant get it put together all the way either and cant get the burner on there. i do not recommend this at all unless you want to waste your money for a lawn ornament. i feel ripped off.
