Used the peel and self stick roofing to patch a tear in my RV roof. Cut about a 12” piece and covered the area in question. Worked like a charm. Time will tell how it holds up but seemed to adhere great.
Shipped fast , worked great , good stuff
I have a rooftop AC unit with large ducts running horizontally until they go down into the house. The return ductwork has had leaks since we bought our house, with water dripping down through the air filter on our top floor ceiling. Since we always seemed to be in the state of having to fix one more leak I decided to fix this once and for all and cover the ductwork with the Peel & Seal Roll Roofing. Applying the role was pretty straightforward and I'm happy not to have to deal with any more drips.
Bought this to do a repair job on a flat roof with very little slope. It is a really good product and very sticky! For my project, I used a hand roller used for cove base. Worked find. If your doing a whole roof invest in a 75 lb. roller. The roll that is 36 inches wide was 33 feet long. Was really impressed with the fast shipping too! It came from a good ways away from me but got to me in just a few days.
Great product to work with as long as you pay attention. If it sticks and last as long as it claims, it will be a win win for me.
Installed this on my low pitch patio roof. Easy to install and clean and nice looking when done. Just waiting for rain to give it a good test. Keeping my fingers crossed. It seems to be a good product while installing.
I've been using this product for close to 35 years mostly for roofing repairs on bitumen & metal roofs mostly at flashing areas. With proper roof preparation This product will last many years (20+). Extremely satisfied.
Bought this 3 years ago, and delayed doing a review until I saw how well it stood up to weather. I love this product, its easy to work with, self stick, and very forgiving. Can be adjusted before finally set, and is marked for easy overlap when setting. Holds up very well in NY weather after nearly 3 years since set. Not being a roofer, after setting the roof sheets I did finish the edges with silicon caulking which worked very well assuring water could not work its way behind the edges. I highly recommend this product.
The products seemed to stick as promised I tested a 1-inch piece off the role. It's stuck to the aluminum so well it pulled off paint but not as well to the EDPM (RV rubber roof material) I ended up ordering through Walmart a product called eternabond. That was the product the previous owner used around the skylight. The name tells it all eternabond! Not certain if I can return it or not I only used one inch. For your typical roof seam repair this product will do the job well. I just needed to order the proper product to begin with. Thanks for having both products Walmart.com
Bought this to try and repair damage to the roof on a slide-out on my camper. It was leaking on half of the slide (obvious damage on top). It worked great as my slide-out was 36 inches just like the roll was. I had also put a 36" x 8' panel of fiberglas reinforced plactis sheeting that I got at a major retail store. Put that down first along with 6" RV tape around the edges. THEN I put a 12 foot piece of the roofing on that and another round of RV tape around the edges. The roofing went down great and the adhexive on the underside is VERY sticky. Much like the RV tape so once it's down, it's an absolute nightmare to get back up (as it shpuld be). My ONLY reason for the 4 Stars is because on the 12 section that I cut, there were three "bare" areas where there was no adhexive. The areas ranged from about a foot square to I'd say half a foot square. Maybe I'm being picky but I would have wanted adhesive throughout the sheet. I's have to say I'd give it a 4. 5 if it were available. WOuld I buy it again? Absolutely but I still have over 20 feet left of this roll which I may never use. All in all, VERY impressed with this and I'm pretty sure I've stopped the leak. Thumbs up!
