MFM SubSeal40 Waterproof House Wrap 40 mil

Product - excellent! Company and shipping - excellent. We had water damage to our home from some improper flashing and some other issues. Found the SubSeal 40 and it's going to give us some peace of mind. Also found MBS and I can't say enough how fast and fabulous they've been. Highly recommend!

I used it in a way it wasn't intended. I bought the 18" roll, put about 6 inches on the foundation of the house, above the grade, and let the rest lie in the garden bed under the landscape fabric with rock on it. We were having leaks near the windows and an idiot painter removed some insulation to the ground, but not lower. This is keeping water from getting behind the insulation.

Sealed deck joist that water comes down hill and settles on wood. Went on easy and then backfilled dirt to keep water from sitting on it. Time will tell how long it works but was very happy with the material and easy installation

Great to see that there are still products being made in THE USA that are as good as what it advertised. to be seals well is very forgiving if the surface being applied to is not perfectly smooth very pleased with SubSeal 40

The material works great, was little complicated to install in a corrugated metal sheet, which was some videos with some techniques to apply it in this corrugated metal. But it really sticks very good!!!!

This worked great to solve a leaking problem we had in a porch wall. We used it as a sealant before adding concrete board.

overall, good material and relatively easy to work with; though, stickiness in cold weather somewhat reduced (i.e., will require some more work to properly adhere it to the surface); can't say any about sealant quality yet, but the 40 mil fulfilled the code requirements for my application

Subseal40 was definitely the right product to waterproof subterranean concrete stem wall on 30x80 foundation for metal building. Product arrived on time as described and of excellent quality. However, the paper backing on Subseal40 product protecting tacky surface is surprisingly of conversely poor quality which at times made it extremely difficult to remove, as it tears quite easily and I found to be frustrating while at the same time focusing and attempting to adhere to concrete wall. This overlooked product issue unnecessarily increases the risk of the tacky surface adhering unto itself, which unfortunately occurred and was most impossible to undo. My recommendation is to consider this issue be solved or mitigated by improving the protective backing towards easier removal and therefore improving the installation procedure or process of an otherwise superior product! Because each of the product parts are equally important as easily removed protective backing will improve installation of the tacky surface combining to add a product of much higher quality. “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” Aristotle

Appears to be good stuff. Time will tell. Easy to use and cut. A straight edge ( or markings) woulda been nice for ripping. Here's to long lasting wood.
