MGA's Miniverse Make It Mini Dinosaurs Jurassic World

Like the variety of dinosaurs . Came packaged with care.

My nephew is obsessed with dinosaurs. He begged me to get this for him. It's his third mga mini dinosaur kit. It's great because it is stem adjacent and it takes about 5-10 minutes to put together. After that, he can still shake the little dinosaur snow globe and look at it. You put glitter in there so it swirls around with the dinosaur.

The illustration instructions make it easy for your child to follow. I like that we were able to scan the QR code on the instructions and add the numbers on the liquid DNA and the dry DNA to identify our dinosaur. My son's mini dinosaur ended up being a Indoraptor. My son loves dinosaurs and is already asking for more of these mini dinosaur kits. I love that it can be displayed in the case that it comes in.

The liquid in my Indoraptor did not react and remained very dark. I figured out how to fix it. Add water. The original fluid was rather concentrated so I ended up using quite a bit of water. No separation in color/liquids so far and complete control on the color while fixing. I did a bit of experimenting with small amounts to make sure I wouldn't ruin anything while figuring this out. I used an old cup that came with a bottle of Delsym cough syrup. I would suggest filling it at least half way with water then use the provided dropper to take the fluid out of the container and add it slowly to the water to change it to the color you want. The glitter also gets a bit diluted but I had extra after initially adding 3 spoonfuls. Warning, take it slow with the glitter. I put in a small amount in the new lighter liquid and it went a long way. It looks really good now. It's a nice teal color. It's a little more saturated in person. I chose to keep it a bit light for good visibility but adding more of the original liquid will slowly make it closer to the original. It will slowly change from teal to purple. This is reversible if you mess up. I would rate this 5 stars if this was not a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an interesting project. The MGA's Miniverse Mini Dinosaurs Jurassic World feels like a little science experiment. It requires careful following of the instructions. It wasn't quite what we expected but it was fun. We are still trying to figure out what the picture of shaving cream has to do with this project. We had fun adding the ingredients to the egg and cracking the egg to reveal the inner egg. It was fun to watch the dinosaur be revealed. It has a cool display that goes great with the overall theme. Not for little children but fun for older kiddos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved that we lucked out getting one that came in an egg to crack open. The ankylosaurus baby is adorable. There were two sets of directions and neither were the most ideal. It seemed like we might have added too much dry DNA and not enough liquid DNA. Once it settled it was easier to see, but there was a pretty big air bubbles the top so we ended up adding more liquid. It's a cute little display that looks more fun when left open. I don't think we'll be attempting to collect them all though.

They decided to assemble it together which was a fun activity for them both. They loved unboxing this toy and discovering all the parts to assemble it. They got the hybrid cylinder to grow their dinosaur in. The MGA's Miniverse Make It Mini Dinosaurs Jurassic World does require extra patience. They followed the directions precisely but the dinosaur stilll takes a long time to appear. They loved having the QR code to scan that told them more information about their dinosaur. We love Miniverse and we will continue to collect the other dinosaurs in this set. My girls said they felt like they were taking real dinosaur DNA and making their own Jurassic Park. We loved adding this set to our MiniVerse collection.

I didn't see much of a change in the shape of the cute Dino fetus after a day, so I swapped the liquid to this blue color. The whole thing still looks really cool, though. I want to hang it on my purse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun little activity for the older kids. My 8 year old son really had fun with this. Each capsule contains 1 of 12 mystery dinosaurs. It includes mini accessories and directions to follow to find out which dinosaur you got.

Liquid is clumpy on the egg variations & pretty opaque. On the cylinder variations, the liquid remained very opaque and its purple. Overall, they look nothing like the photos and you can't really see the dinosaurs. There's also not enough liquid to fill the containers. (All directions were followed)
