creepy nostalgia

I bought this Blu-ray fully expecting creepy nostalgia, and wow—mission accomplished and then some. Child's Play (1988) still slaps, and this release treats it with the respect an iconic murder doll deserves. The picture quality is sharp enough to see every unholy freckle on Chucky's face, and the new box art is chef's kiss—equal parts creepy and cool. It looks great on the shelf and even better spinning in the player. The film itself is still tense, funny, and ridiculous in the best way. If you love horror, practical effects, or dolls that absolutely should not talk, this is a must-own. Five stars. 🔪🧸

A horror classic
