Miami Midnight Extra Smooth Razor for Women

It is a nice design that combs either its own holder which is a plus. It's precise and it has lasted me quite a while thought I do change the head often it is great to have since it's durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Gillette Venus fan since they first came out (had the OG blue, then the pink) but haven't upgraded in nearly a decade. I currently have the Swirl and use the Swirl blades which are my go-to refill for my Gillette razor. While I love my Swirl razor, it was getting pretty old, so I was so excited to receive this new stick. So far, I love it. The colors are cute and the mount is cute but it's also extremely sturdy. The backing to stick the mount to the wall is VERY strong, so I'm not worried about it falling off. In all transparency, I actually bought a viral competitor razor a few months ago just to see if I had been missing anything and honestly there was no comparison - the Venus razor and blades were better. This Miami Midnight razor has a nice little weight to it too. I'm not sure what the material is but it feels a little heavier than the usual plastic, almost like it has a metal component in the base. My only question is why do they only put two refill blades in the package when they make slots for three? Not a big deal, but just curious as it's weird to open the package to see an empty slot. Thank you Gillette and Influenster for sending this to me, I'm so happy to have it. I love how Venus blades are interchangeable so I'm feeling more excited to see what else they offer now that I have a new razor but know that I can't go wrong with the Swirl refills!

The handle is thiner, has a little more weight and has smooth material where the cartridge clips in. It still feels secure in my hand and it doesn't slide out. I don't think this handle will collect mildew like the other plastic handles. The cartridge has a nice change! The moisture strips that are usually only on the top and bottom of the cartridge, now is all the way around the cartridge! One refill cartridge lasts for 30 days of smooth legs. This set comes with handle, 2 refill cartridges and a shower hook.

First, let me provide a little TMI…I am a hairy human who absolutely hates body hair. With that being said, I consider myself a bit of a razor connoisseur. I have tried them all, from regular women's razors to straight blades. I have tried drug store brand, high end and subscriptions. So, take my word when I say this is a really good razor! I did not cut myself or get any razor burn, thank goodness! The Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Miami Midnight Razor is very smooth and a nice clean shave. It contoured to my body nicely and I really liked the moisturizing gel. While I don't really care what it looked like, it was cute. The only thing I wish it would have had was a little bit of grip to the handle. But, it didn't slide out of my hand or anything. Again, really nice razor and I do really like Gillettes blades. I will be purchasing Gillette Venus razors in the future.

I love the fact that it has comb teeth to guide the hairs. The handle is interchangeable with other cartridges made by this brand, which is a plus for me. Love it!
