Very nice bike for the price. Instructions aren't the best but good enough to assemble if you have never done it before. Bought for our 6-year old. Liked it so much we bought another one for our 3-year old. With the seat all the way down here is just tall enough for it.
Nice sturdy bike my 4 yr old loves it! We did not use the training wheels. And my husband put it together.
Purchased for my tall 5 year old son, great Christmas gift. After becoming comfortable with his 12" beginners bike (training wheels removed) it was time to step up to a larger frame. He loves it and the frame and mechanics seem to be very well made, I expect this bike to outlast his riding years on this size. Assembly was easy enough and nothing that I didn't expect. Be very careful when putting the pedals on this (or any other bike for that matter), there is a left and a right pedal, most people miss this step. You will need a very thin wrench to get them properly tightened. Due to the seasonal purchase, this bike was not in stock and I had it delivered to my home. The only reason for the 5th star not being awarded is that all hardware is not packaged in plastic bags and one nut plus the small hardware for attaching the reflector brackets were missing. I had spares on-hand (metric sizes) so this was not an issue for myself, but most people would be very disappointed if they couldn't complete the assembly. Overall I would recommend this product and am happy with the purchase.
I like that this bicycle was easy and intuitive to assemble. If they can provide ranches for assembling the parts and have a breaking system installed i think it will do a lot of good.
Honestly, I've only assembled the bike so far - my son hasn't ridden the bike (he's getting it for his birthday!). It seems decently solid but I don't have mileage on it to prove that. A couple of things, first being that I ordered it site-to-store, free shipping. This took over two weeks until the bike was available - so be aware of that, it's not fast. The box came damaged, with a corner ripped open. It's sheer luck that several screws and nuts that had worked their way loose and were just sort of shaking around the box didn't fall out. The bike's frame also comes wrapped in a fair amount of thin bubble wrap and tape, but that's sort of pointless when you have several pieces of heavy metal with sharp edges floating freely around the box, which is how it's packed. So, despite all the bubble wrap, there are numerous deep scratches in the paint, straight out of the box. Other than that, it seems like a good basic bike for a little one. I'm not sure how much punishment it could take if your kid is a hard rider but ours is just learning to ride, so we have a couple of years of moderate use ahead. I'm sure it'll do just fine for that purpose. We also went to the cheap end of the scale for that specific purpose, nothing our kids can do at this point could really be a challenge for a bike, so there's really no worry about how well it takes punishment. A cheap bike that they can beat up without worrying is all we were looking for. Once he's more accomplished, maybe when the training wheels come off, we'll see how this bike holds up and possibly consider a higher-quality bike from another brand.
Not too bad to put together, not super easy either. But the bike is super cute! I would definitely buy this again!
worst assembly ever, front forks fir front tire bent inward so we had to pry the front forks open to get front tire on then it was missing the nut to front tire and not a std thread. if my husband wasn't as handy as he is I would have returned this bike. Had to rethread in order to find a nut to fit.
Cute bike bit packaging bad. Boxes looked like they were thrown around like crazy. Front forks were all bent out of shape.
I wish I had taken the negative reviews about this bike more seriously. I got it for my four year old daughter thinking it was a good looking bike for a good price. It came with loose screws and parts in the box and no instructions on how to put it together. The frame was bent and it was nearly impossible to get the front tire on. One of the tires is completely flat with a collapsed valve stem so it's impossible to blow it up. I am returning this piece of junk. Huge disappointment for my daughter.
Front frame was slightly bent had to take to store and have them finish putting it together. Big inconvenience for me.
