This sauce is awesome and the only store bought spaghetti sauce we will ever buy. It's a good as homemade but easier. The only drawback is the expensive price which may be to much for some folks. It shipped promptly and was packed very well with lots of bubble wrap. Will buy again.
Love this sauce, it's hard to find in grocery stores. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a fantastic spaghetti sauce that is hard to find in my area. I jazz it up with additional tomatoes, seasoning and meats, but the flavor and texture is wonderful. Jet's price is very reasonable. I bought 5 jars. They were wrapped nicely. I received my order very promptly. Thank you.
Sauce cost more than Other brands. Has no garlic in it. You have to add it in. Taste good with garlic. The gravy is watery thin and does not stick to macaroni very well.
Why do people insist on calling it "sauce" when it says "gravy" on the label because that is what traditional Italians call what others call sauce. I suppose the other corporate food companies make "sauce" but that's because, well you know what they are ain't what's pictured on the label. Now I'm not Italian and I'm from Jamaica Queens which ain't as Italian no more like the neighbors I used know as a kid. But that being said, I trust an Italian from Brooklyn to know what he's talking about and what he's doing so forget about it... it ain't sauce. I haven't tried it yet, but I bought a bottle 2 days ago and will be using it on my lasagna. It will be great I'm sure simply because he called it sauce and one of my old Air Force buddies corrected me on Facebook and explained he found out by being married to an Italian wife for 45 years. I've always heard the reason why NY Pizza taste like none other on the planet is because the secret to the "gravy" is not shared. Maybe to some in Jersey, but that is as far as it goes.
