[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves the metatarsal being on the outside of your boot. It make it very comfortable. Plus they are made of a soft leather and that makes for there comfort also.
I am an apprentice farrier and after being stepped on by a Clydesdale a few weeks before ordering these I had to learn quickly that ordinary steel toed boots will not be enough to protect my feet in case of a repeat offense. These boots are incredibly comfortable - I am on my feet all day. I am a woman and I usually wear a women's size 9 to 9 1/2 - the men's size 7 1/2 works perfectly fine for me!
I bought Michelin and so happy with my purchase. So comfortable and nice. The best safety shoes I have ever owned.
Great Shoes....!.........!............!.....!..!.!
I got my first pair Sept.2010 while working in foundry.(XPX761) . They are very very comfortable while on my feet for 12 hr days up to 60 & 70 hr's a week. They withstood standing and walking in hot sand from large engine molds. The metatarsals kept my feet from injury from heavy chunks of cores and protected sand and hot sand from falling on my shoe laces and burning me,or getting sand in my work boot. I've retired from the foundry and been wearing them for the last 5 years while driving a truck.I use them every since 2010 to mow my yard and terraces the tread pattern design and depth allow great stability from slipping on my terraces while mowing. I also enjoy going for walks in them just before work and sometimes after work one mile or two, my feet feel great even at 250 pounds. Believe me i'm 63 tears old and had all kinds of work boots with and without metatarsals these are all around safe and comfortable work boot.I'm getting to order my 4th pair. Even though the boot laces don't last very long.I don't mind buying leather replacement boot laces. And i still give an overall rating of 5 stars.
2 weeks ago I lost control of an Acetylene #5 cylinder (170/185#s) I rolling to a customer truck. The cylinder fell and landed on toe of my left foot. The front compressed slightly and no damage was done to my foot. Great Job......….......
I found these boots are very comfortable and light weight. I will be using them for welding. I like the strings protected behind the leather. I did add toe protecters to the boots to make them last longer.
these are my 1st pair and I most say they have a true fit and light. easy to ware feet don't hurt. this is a plus!!
wore these for yrs comfortable durable. But the laces break a lot, it's not the laces it's the eyelets get worn and cut the laces. I switched to the internal met guard no troble better eyelet design
After 10 months the bottom part of the boots separed
