I had to watch a video but I figured it out how to work it. I do appreciate having the two already ready and pulled through with the thread and love how they gave me an extra piece to practice on. It's fantastic not powerful and scary as soon as I got practice and I just got it today! Thanks again! Fast shipping threading it through and giving the practice piece it really helped! So excited. It is small but it's just what I wanted! I tried to show how small with a pair of scissors in case anyone wanted to know.

On December 20th, I needed the following two items the Michley Lil' Sew & Sew with accessories and the My First Sewing Book for Beginners this would complete my grand-daughters' Christmas wish list. By me ordering them so late(December 20th) I was afraid I would not receive the items in time for Christmas. Walmart Online Shipping promise I would receive one on the 23rd and the other on the 24th of December. The great news is Walmart shipping had both items delivered to me on the 22nd of December! First, I want to say thank you Walmart Online Shipping for the excellent service!!! Both of the products were excellent and just what she needed to start her new advanture of the sewing world. The sewing machine is an excellent product for begginers and she loves it. The book was great also, because it gives her ideas and different choices of things to make besides dolls clothes. We are very satisfied with the both items and they gives us quality time together. Thanks again Walmart!!!

I purchase this sewing machine to participate in a sewing project for my church. We were making dresses out of pillow cases for little girls in Africa. I haven't sewed since high school and did not want to purchase an expensive machine and when I saw this machine, I figured that it would serve its purpose. The day I received my machine, I stayed up until 2:00 am sewing my dresses, Iv'e made 60 dresses so far. I have really enjoyed this machine!!!!!!

Good value for the cost. The machine is not too difficult to figure out. Look for a how-to video on youtube for better instructions than what the paper instructions say. It works well and does the job. I have not tested it on very thick or heavy material yet, though. Sewing kit gives you all you need and is a generous addition. The automatic scissors is the weakest link. It requires batteries which are not included, and getting into the battery section is difficult- you must slightly wedge something under the back to pop it straight out.

This is a cute little machine to fix little things around the house that need more than a sewing needle. It is very lightweight being a plus and minus. It is easy to carry but hard to manipulate large items..had to improvise it in place so it doesn't move with double sided tape otherwise works fine.

It's small enough to set at kitchen table or desk and sew and not take up much room and small enough to fit in the box and stored under bed when not using,It's very light weight. It's great for small projects, it can be pedal or hand operated overall it's a great little sewing machine, I haven't had any problems from mine and I have had it for several weeks and it works great for what I bought it for which is to hem up clothes and small crafts for my kids.

I got this machine for doing small projects, simple sewing. I have made myself and my daughter a skirt and several purses with minimal trouble. The machine is very easy to use. My biggest complaint is that the thread breaks more often with this machine than it does with my regular full size brother sewing machine. Two improvements that would make this a perfect simple machine would be that 1) it needs a light (it is difficult for me to see the needle to thread it, so I have used a small flashlight to provide a light) and 2) it has no reverse (I manually stitch a few stitches with the wheel to secure my stitches). Overall, the simple chain stitch is fine and the machine is consistent and works very well. The electric scissors that come with it are Amazing though, very easy to use, very quick! The Accessory bundle is a standard sewing notion bundle, it has many many different bobbin colors in it, and I like that, because I hate winding bobbins lol.

the machine quite ok, although back result of sewing not really good. at least I can make my own mask. I can't use the seam ripper, it kinda stuck when I used it. something wrong with it. the electic scissor also, it kinda stuck when I used it. maybe it dull? I don't know. What I like is the machine so light and small so I didn't need more room or big table. I just put on the plastic chair and did the sewing, sit down on the floor

I bought this product as my first sewing machine. I was able to use once and made my first curtain valence and then broke. It would not thread the bottom bobbin there not see any more. One curtain is the only use it was. Stick with name you know when you think of seeing machines...SINGER!

This product is not as described. It does not sew in reverse. It does not have a light. It is difficult to lock In stitches by hand. It does not sew consistent stitches. The tension is difficult to adjust and the thread does not lock appropriately. This is a waste of time to buy and a pain to work with. I am an advanced seamstress and gave this to my granddaughter for Christmas. She is 11 and we are frustrated with this machine and the deceiving description. Had I read all of the comments I would have know this. Terrible machine!
