These yoga blocks are expected. You can use them for a lot of different things and are the standard size (so you can stand them up or horizontal). It does keep dents/marks on it easily but that's as expected with the harder/firmness of the block. Blocks are equal in size to each other and it comes with two blocks. No real complaints. Met expectations.
I just got the Microdry Fitness Foam Block Set for enhanced stretching, measuring 9x6x4. It has 2 foam blocks that I can rearrange as I am doing my stretching exercises. It helps keep me steady as I am a beginner. It is a soft foam block as it does not hurt like my knuckles or my hand and wrists when I am doing those moves. I did notice that it helps relieve my pain in my knees, back and shoulders. I believe it is because with these blocks I am supporting my upper body. Highly recommended and the price is good.
The 2 pack Micro dry Yoga Blocks are made of quality solid EVA foam. They have a modern upscale look and come in different bright colors. They arrived in a well taped shipping box and the blocks had plenty of packing material for delivery. They feel soft to the touch and easy to grab and use. Perfect size to support the neck, knees, hands, arms and legs when doing a certain yoga stance. They help the body absorb shock and stay in position longer. They don't slide or move around when using an exercise mat or a rug. This will also keep the blocks looking new, lasting longer and less wear and tear. These are the smaller traditional size that are lightweight and great to carry in an athletic bag to the gym..
I got these yoga blocks as a gift for a coworker who uses yoga to destress on a regular basis. The blocks are firm enough to be supportive while still being extremely comfortable to use. They help reduce the strain on your arms and legs and are very versatile. The color options they come in are also great and I can attest to the fact that the purple ones are a great shade (not too dark and not too light). They also don't hold dirt or moisture so you don't have to worry about them getting terribly gross.
These Microdry Fitness Foam Blocks are my new favs! They come in handy for so many things for me. Helps with restorative poses in particular, provides softish comfortable support, and are pretty sturdy. They essentially have 3 different heights you can use them at, depending on which way you turn them.I love how light and easy to move around they are, and the beveled edges make them easier to grab and more comfortable to lay on. They wipe clean easily too! Great for yoga or help with physical therapy exercises!
I workout at home several times a week with my daughter. We do weight lifting, yoga, stretching, exercise videos, etc. As we get bored, or need a change in our workout, we just move on to the next thing, whatever keeps us motivated and moving. That's why I got these, to change up our workouts. I like exercise equipment like this that can be used in many different ways and by people at many different levels of fitness. We have started using them in resistance type exercises, rather than just yoga. It's nice that you can just lookup on the internet exercises to use these blocks with and pick and choose what works for you. And since they don't take up too much room to store, as we move on to the next thing, we can just put these aside, knowing we will be back to them in the future.
I really like these yoga blocks. The size is perfect 4 x 6 x 9. I have just started yoga so they help alleviate pain and align my hips. I can see using them for planking. They are super easy to clean and are comfortable. I ordered purple and received grey but I like them.
This is my first ever yoga block set so l cannot compare them to others out there, but l like them. They are affordable, sturdy, and a vivid attractive color. I am just starting doing beginning yoga with my daughter while we wait for the new gym to finish being built. These stay in place and don't slide out of place when used on carpet or a yoga mat. I also use them when watching TV to keep my heels up off the floor when my heel spurs are hurting. They also work great for propping up you feet for easier pedicures. I've only had them a few weeks so l am sure l will come up with more off uses for these handy blocks.
The Microdry Fitness 2-Piece Foam Block Set, Light Gray, 9x6x4" is great to use while exercising and stretching. The foam blocks can hold a lot of weight on them. They made to be very durable. Perfect size. The only complaint I have is that they do get a little slippery from hand sweat. Makes it hard. But otherwise I do recommend this product.
I am not really impressed with the yoga exercise cushions. There way smaller than I expected them to be and there not very sturdy or durable for exercise or yoga. There very light weight, and made out of a harder foam .If you use them to balance with they slide from underneath you. However if your just placing them between your legs for certain exercises they work great. Most people use these blocks as props to lean up against for balance and relaxation during their yoga routine, with that being said, I wouldn't recommend them.
