Most cheaper boom stands are junk, but the one I recently purchased from yescom is solid and well built, I'm buying 2 more for the overheads on my drums! came quickly too!

No doubt this is one of the best mic stands I've gotten. Durable, fully adjustable and holds the mic securely. You get excellent value for the price.

light weight--- good performing stand--- but--would not use professionally for traveling shows--- do not think is rugged enough--for occasional or studio use is excellent--- within these limitations I think ia a good item for the price

The stand should not be titled as heavy duty, It's flimsy and not good in general for what you're expecting it to be. And the box condition was absolutely horrible condition box had holes all in it and extra duct tape all around it ta hold my item indside. generally tho would recommend

i've been looking for a stand with this style of adjustable boom. i might have avoided this altogether if it was described as 'light duty' or something along those lines. i do know you get what you pay for but the price on this is actually in the ballpark for a decent stand. this stand is borderline decent. iffy. flimsy. the parts that are metal are lower grade than than usual, the plastic parts are really cheap feeling, and that sliding boom mount itself has some play in it.

ordered a 2pack and received a single stand. boom was to be 36" and I got a 24"
