Meets expectations

OUBobcat October 28, 2007

I bought this game knowing that it would use a lot of memory, so that wasn't surprising. I'm running it on a laptop and besides waiting for it to load, it runs great. It would be best to play this on a gaming PC, but if not, a laptop will work fine. It's a must have if you're interested in aviation! Enjoy!

Microsoft FSX

The new Micorsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe) is well worth the price - be sure you have enough computer ( MEMORY AND PROCESSOR SPEED) to get the full benefit of the super detail avaliable in this program.

Great Simulator!

Moronical123 August 4, 2008

At first I didn’t care for it much but once I got it to work good on my computer I started to enjoy it. And I think if you are into aviation and have a decent gaming computer you will enjoy it to.

Very Demanding

Great software, if you have the system to run it... I recommend ATLEAST 2gb RAM. I also think it is a good idea to have a 250 gb HDD. If you do not have any of this, and do not mind giving up a few features, FS2004 (FS9) is the way to go! I own FS2000-FSX I've been in this business for a while! ENJOY!

Awesome!

I have been flying simulators for over 15 years. This one very memory intensive, but I knew that when purchasing it. Wal-mart's price was at least $10 less than anywhere else I could find it. I upgraded my PC to 2GB RAM and put in a 512MB graphics card to get the best out of it. I am using it on XP, but will probably run it on Vista sometime soon. I will probably start looking into some hardware next, such as Flight Wheel, Rudder Pedals, etc. I just can't get enough time on it!!

Good Game...

Coachc05 August 6, 2009

Bought this game about a week ago. Great game. I bought FSX gold, but still includes deluxe with accel. pack. Anyways, I am real happy with the game. It's very tough to learn because it's so realistic. They do offer tutorials and stuff though and you have the ability to play online with other people... I thought it was real neat how you could talk through a mic to other real people (like a pilot requesting landing clearence to someone in a flight tower). It makes the game very realistic. Challenging and realistic. Recommend it to everyone.

Fun & Relaxing

pilotwannabee March 9, 2008

I recently purchased the Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe and I really enjoy it. I recommend adding a joystick for the best experience. I use the game to relax on my time off, and enjoy just flying around and checking out the scenery and playing with the controls.

Fun to use but graphics lack detail. It's good for a starter.

Fun for awhile

halofanman September 26, 2007

When you buy this game you need a good computer, my laptop struggles playing it. Its a good 12-15 Gigabytes so you should have a pretty good size hard drive. My laptop has a 48GB hard drive and I didnt want to put it on that hard drive, I bought an external hard drive and I think that might be the reason it is slow. I don't play it much anymore now that my pc is running Ubuntu 7.04 and My Windows Vista laptop crashed. This game can really teach you things about airplanes and it is really fun to use the mic in multiplayer mode. I don't recommend using this game with a computer that has Windows Vista and 512mb ram, Vista uses it all! After I played this game for about 50 hours or so I really started loving airplanes and now I can name planes easily!
