Microsoft - Surface Slim Pen (2nd Edition) - Matte Black

I tried a "well rated" non-MS pen with my new (2025) Surface 12. I returned it. This pen is a whole different story. It works, it has a number of cool functions and the magnet is very strong. Sometimes I don't bother to put the pen away and just leave it magnetically stuck to the Surface. It's expensive, but it works.

wanted the entire Surface Pro accessories... I found the Walmart online purchases gave me the most affordable way to do this... Thanks Walmart... I am set now!!

Had it for about 2 weeks and already need to replace the tip and it's awkward to hold and use the button because it's a bit high but it writes well

The second one I've bought this month—excellent value! Came exactly as described, in original Microsoft packaging. Works flawlessly. Super happy with both purchases!

It would have been nice to know that the charging component didn't come with the pen. didn't realize that till we tried to open it and use it.

It does everything I need it to do, with just two complaints: 1. The side button is mapped to the lasso tool out of the box. It's possible to remap it to erase through third party software but it's very annoying. 2. You can't turn it on without its charger.

Pen-my daughter uses it on surface studio laptop. Works ok. The eraser function is not as good as advertised. The tip is sensitive and the writing is responsive and fast as you would on paper.
