This is such an excellent product all around! I bought it as a Christmas present for my 12 year old. Although the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 was just released a month prior, this is still an excellent choice for a game console. I highly recommend it!
Works fine, came quickly. Replaced my 7 year old Xbox which died. Has only a 4GB flash memory, but you can add more with a USB stick or purchase an Xbox hard drive. The hard drive from the old white ones will not fit this one without changing the housing. Good buy, good price, good service. No complaints!
The new design is pretty good, it's to match the upcoming Xbox one. The fixed so the eject and power button aren't touch sensitive, which was annoying in the Slim version. The Slim version eject and power "buttons" you just slightly touched and either eject or power off/on. The eject and power buttons on this ne E series on, just push them and they do their thing. Been a 4gb seems a little meh, but you can always either buy a dard drive for it or just plug one in through USB. Been on a budget this helped a lot.
I bought this item to get me up and moving (I use with the Kinect) and have fun doing so with the kids. We all get to laughing and sweating. My daughter has the Wii and it can be easily tricked to doing the movements. There is no cheating on these movements. Would recomend.
Very nice, only thing is that it doesnt have much memory, ive had it for about a week, played and saved 2 games on it and i already have to buy a new hard drive for it or something else that will extend its memory. But this was expected, it did say it was only 4gb
I love the Xbox 360. I bought this one to replace my 6 yr old one. I really should of got the one with 250 GB. I don't know what I was thinking. On my original Xbox 360 I had an external hard drive, so I guess I just kind of forgot about how small 4 GB is. I had already personalized my new Xbox when I was alerted that I was out of space on the hard drive. I really didn't want to go through the process of returning it, but I wish I had bought the other one for an extra $50. I have already ordered an external hard drive to attach, but it would have been easier, had I paid attention to what I was actually ordering.
I just liked the price an timing to get my kids a upvideogamr that I could afford..I like the different uses it has yi To offer such as being able to be used as s DVD player an ti be able to go online. I like netflix an other internet options we can use it for. I haven't used it yet since I bought ...I'm doing my christmas shopping early.....
I think the Xbox should have come with more hard drive space, 4GB isn't enough if you have a lot of games to save, currently have 11 and climbing, and it should come with 2 controllers, not just 1. I bought 2, 16GB flash drives to use on the Xbox, that bumped it to 36GB after formatting them to the console, this way it's an easy and cheaper way of gaining a bunch of storage, I also think it was a little high priced being the older generation, not the Xbox 1. It works fine, graphics are pretty good, no problems with functionality. This package came with choice of 2 new games included at the $179.00 price. I bought the extended warranty with it, just do to hearing a lot horror stories from other users. Although they might not have taken care of their console. 3 years of coverage for $25.00 is cheap insurance. It comes with 4 demo games built in, not worth anything, so I deleted them and gained a little more room. It also had a card for a free 1 month subscription to Xbox Live. Overall a fun console, just a little expensive for what you get.
Its great for small kids that play games not requiring a lot of memory. I bought this for my nephew who is 7 years old and its great for him. He plays all the kids game on it with no problem, but we tried playing a grown up game with a lot of memory and it wouldn't work. So be aware of that, its for games that don't require a lot of memory. For big time gamers I think they know they have to purchase the higher memory console.
I was unaware that the newer games take so much hard drive space like the new Ghost game. This is not something that I would recommend to anyone. I would suggest spending the additional money and getting the larger size hard drive instead of buying the extra 320 GB hard drive. I did return this and purchased the 250 GB console.
