Microsoft Xbox One Stereo Headset (Xbox One)

Impressive product over all. It provides game audio in the headset without requiring a separate cord to connect to the TV's headphone jack. I had a similar headset by Turtle Beach for the Xbox 360 that required a long cord be plugged into the TV and a shorter cord be plugged into the controller and the cords would always get in the way. The audio quality is great and the headset is comfortable. You can tune the volume levels for chat and game volume right on the adapter that plugs into the controller which is another convenient feature. Overall, this headset provides excellent performance, especially considering the price. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reasonably priced headset.

Very easy to connect to the controller. Cord is long enough but not too long. Sound is very good and ear pads are big enough to block out most outside sounds. Boom mike fits so well in the retracted position, I didn't realize it was there.

Tthe price is great compared to most gaming headsets; a lot cheaper than a lot of the competition. The sound is excellent and the set up is easy. I was actually able to use the adapter that hooks on to the end of the controller to hook up my surround sound by plugging in an aux cable from my speakers instead of the headset which was a pleasant surprise. The headset also blocks out a lot of sound. I can play and only hear my game while sitting in the center of my roommates entertainment system while he blasts games louder than they would sound in real life. The only complaint is that if you have the sound up too loud, it will sometimes come through the microphone, a small price to pay for an otherwise awesome product!

For the money its the best headset on the market. Only wish you could hear your own voice in the headset, find myself talking louder then normal so I can hear myself. Other then that they are on par with my turtle beach and tritton headsets, when it comes to in game sound.

The headset is loud enough, the only problem I have is that is kind of bulky other than than that good quality sound and plus you can use it playing and chat with your friends online.

I had high hopes for this given it's an official accessory, but I was extremely disappointed to find that the microphone was so sensitive my party-mates could hear their own voices when they talked (and I didn't have it turned up very loud at all). Worse, the headband was very uncomfortable. Anything over 30 minute of gaming would make the top of my head very sore. I'm returning this for a refund and suggest you look elsewhere if you're looking for a comfortable, quality Xbox One headset.
