4 minutes in microwave
I put 2 frozen nibblers, 2 tablespoons water in the tray, butter on top. Cooked 4 minutes and it was perfect. So fast and easy.

I'm glad I found this item because now I can fix my corn on the cob whenever I want. I don't have to wait to long for it to boil.

Fantastic way to prepare sweet corn! 2 Tablespoons water in each compartment, place corn in steamer, steam for 4 - 5 minutes ... perfectly prepared corn with very little effort. I have used this steamer, with GE Advantium oven, for several years ... no problems with warping and/or bending. Corn prepared at highest microwave setting. Perfect!!

No directions were included with the product. Luckily I had previously own a similar one and was able to figure it out. Works even if lid does not attach completely. Difficult to find cobs that fit in tray and lid closes.

Defective product
I used the item which does a good job, however after 4 or 5 uses the lid is warped. It will no longer snap on.
