They sent the wrong thing. There was a monitor, but nothing to monitor. It was completely wrong and didn't work.

good idea, but needs work
we bought this after seeing a 3x more expensive silicone type on a shopping channel. The space between the blades needs to be wider or improved so that the cooked chip doesn't break. The slicer did not work well. We used it about 6 times and took a chance in the dishwasher, top rack. Put it through 1 more time in the miceowave--it melted. Great idea, does work, but the silicone item will likely last longer. Also, do not season before cooking; season after.
