My family just turned the basement into a "kid cave". This was a birthday present for my grandson so he and his friends could make smores.

Brings back memories, without the bonfires, Easy instructions works great in microwave, enjoyed it with some friends, one of the best things I've bought.

I think this is a cute novelty type product. I bought this for my son to celebrate the end of the school year. The instructions say to add water to the compartment and cook for ~30 seconds. I'm not sure what purpose the water serves. 30 seconds results in a perfect-looking smore with the marshmallow flattened, but it was way to gooey and drippy making quite a mess while eating. We now only cook for 17 seconds. I can see some benefit to the panels that place light amount of weight on top of the smore to help hold things in place, but they are fairly lightweight so I'm not sure how much purpose they serve.

I like this S'more maker, it takes some time to get used to it. The only drawback of it is that you don't get the smokey taste of marshmallows cooked over a flame.

Smaller and cheaper made than the picture lets you believe.! It was a wast of money and indicative of Walter Drake! NOT HAPPY! But I paid for it and was going to just keep my mouth shut. Guess I needed more to put in my mouth to keep it shut!
