This works perfectly for microwaving just about anything. Big bowl, plenty of room for foods. Other reviews about the lid being hard to get on are ridiculous, if it wasn't a good fitting lid then the hot steam would burn your hands when lifting - hard to please everyone. Lid fits wonderfully snug and I haven't had any issues with it. Internal steam basket can be picked up by center piece, shook a lil, and your foods are ready to eat.

Microwave Streamer! For Vegetables!

It is hard trying to get the lid snapped on and sometimes I can't get it fastened on all sides. I would not recommend for an elderly person. Otherwise, the size is nice and the removable steamer tray is convenient.
