Midea 10,000 BTU Smart Inverter U-Shaped Window Air Conditioner – Energy Efficient AC Unit for 450 Sq Ft Room, White

Great design with the U-shape! Low noise level and quick cooling. Remote control makes it even easier to use. Love that it comes with everything needed to install, including a window brace and materials to cover any open spaces. However, I was disappointed with the delivery. I had requested it be delivered to my apartment door as I knew it would be difficult for me (as a senior) to bring it up from the lobby. My request was confirmed by Walmart (in writing). Didn't matter as the delivery person left the a/c in the lobby. I had to find someone to bring it up to my apartment using a hand truck. Not what I expected from Walmart; why even ask for special delivery instructions if they are not going to be followed by the delivery company?!?

I bought the 10,000 BTU MIDEA U Shaped AC. A really nice unit It weighs 58 pounds and the mount was a little difficult to mount but it was doable . Midea had issues a few years ago so I bought the 36 month warranty just in case. I plan on leaving it in the window year round so I bought a $30 cover for it for winter snows Do not buy a cheap $10 cover they are junk.

The tray that is included is so much nicer than just using the window sill and window to hold the AC in place. It puts out very cool air, it's longevity is still to be determined. This geographic area is an excellent stress test of any AC but it's still the end of fall so the outside temp hasn't even reached 90f yet. The unit is amazingly quiet. It might get a little louder as it ages and the rubber parts deteriorate, time will tell. The little baby level bubble was a nice touch too.

This is my second AC that I purchased from Midea. They were both on sale but the price was still more expensive than the regular, big size, old style AC of the same BTU. But I bought because the new configuration which is terrific. The important thing is that the created noise is outside, not inside, and this AC is headed for my bedroom so sound is very important!

This is an amazing unit. We have a very large bedroom and within five minutes this air conditioner, cools it off. We are very happy with this purchase.

This air conditioner is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever bought in 50 years. It’s quiet it keeps the room cool it doesn’t go on and off on and off just waking you up. It is absolutely wonderful. Keep the room just like cool temp that’s comfortable. I would suggest everybody try one easy to install, comes with its own little rack to set it on absolutely the best product I’ve seen in years.

I put ac in my mobile home in July and let me say it keeps me cool. You can't beat it. And shipping was fast and out box ready go setup and even came with mounting bracket.

When the lady brought the package. Once I opened the package the unit was a dent/bent (DAMAGE) on the left side bottom. If need proof took pictures. But the unit is quite and keep a room cool , it has great features and turn on unit by phone if you're away from your house. I carefully research for a GOOD unit this the one I liked the best. Seller reach out so we can discuss a solution to this matter. Thank you!!

i’m sure this is a good air conditioner, but if it takes two people to install it, what is somebody supposed to do if they don’t have nobody to help?

This product was returned as it originally came by the driver and as off today, the refund has not been received to the original credit card. Very disappointed.
