very quiet, extremely cold. easy to clean and easy to use. live in South Texas in an old house with no central air so this is a life saver

Installation was easy and youtube videos really helped me. My window was a little tricky but once I saw how bracket functioned it was really simple to get unit securely fitted. Like how quiet it is and how comfortable my home is now. Room is 15 by 25 and I got the 10K BTU model since open floor plan into adjoining kitchen and 2 small bedrooms. Thanks so much for such a great product.

Not what I was hoping for. First of all I have new windows and the foam blocks provided were no where near tall enough to reach the bottom of the window so I had to modify to seal out the air and the bugs. My biggest complaint is it never shuts off. The compressor slows down like it's supposed to but too slow to keep the room at temp so it runs and runs. I fail to see how that's anymore energy efficient than actually reaching a set temp then shutting off. I replaced a 5000 btu unit that did a good job at keeping my space cool. It didn't run a fraction as much as this 10,000btu unit does. Stuck with it for this summer but replacing it next year with a regular unit.

I bought the 10,000 BTU MIDEA U Shaped AC. A really nice unit It weighs 58 pounds and the mount was a little difficult to mount but it was doable . Midea had issues a few years ago so I bought the 36 month warranty just in case. I plan on leaving it in the window year round so I bought a $30 cover for it for winter snows Do not buy a cheap $10 cover they are junk.

This is my second AC that I purchased from Midea. They were both on sale but the price was still more expensive than the regular, big size, old style AC of the same BTU. But I bought because the new configuration which is terrific. The important thing is that the created noise is outside, not inside, and this AC is headed for my bedroom so sound is very important!

When the lady brought the package. Once I opened the package the unit was a dent/bent (DAMAGE) on the left side bottom. If need proof took pictures. But the unit is quite and keep a room cool , it has great features and turn on unit by phone if you're away from your house. I carefully research for a GOOD unit this the one I liked the best. This is an amazing unit. We have a very large bedroom and within five minutes this air conditioner, cools it off. We are very happy with this purchase.

This air conditioner is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever bought in 50 years. It’s quiet it keeps the room cool it doesn’t go on and off on and off just waking you up. It is absolutely wonderful. Keep the room just like cool temp that’s comfortable. I would suggest everybody try one easy to install, comes with its own little rack to set it on absolutely the best product I’ve seen in years.

The tray that is included is so much nicer than just using the window sill and window to hold the AC in place. It puts out very cool air, it's longevity is still to be determined. This geographic area is an excellent stress test of any AC but it's still the end of fall so the outside temp hasn't even reached 90f yet. The unit is amazingly quiet. It might get a little louder as it ages and the rubber parts deteriorate, time will tell. The little baby level bubble was a nice touch too.

The back of the AC came damage also had a few scratches and the box it looked that was open and retape it. I paid for new not used.
