This was my first bladeless fan to use and its wonderful! This is a bladeless fan that is 42 inches and it came with 2 hepa filters to install. Has a remote and even has a magnetic way to hold the remote on the fan. Has 12 different speeds that are displayed on the fan when desired speed is chosen. Love that this is also a air purifier also. Has a timer option and a nice light design on it also. I had to do nothing but install the 2 filters that came with it. It is quiet but the higher the speed it does get a bit louder. I love this and it has many great features.
Love this fan! Very quiet can hardly tell it is on when it is on full speed! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a very stylish, well built Fan!
I like this fan and got it just to have some circulation around our family room. I like it much more than I had expected. There are so many setting options on this fan. You can set the fan to oscillate either 0, 30, 60, or 120 degrees. There are modes for if you want a lot of circulation, sleep time, or baby wind. You can set a timer on the fan anywhere from 1 to 12 hours. There is a startup and shut down mode of the wind to change the temperature. The amount of wind will adjust itself according to the change of environmental temperature. There is also a HEPA filter on the fan. The fan came with 2 filters. It was very easy to put the filter in. The fan comes with a remote. (Requires 2 AAA batteries, not included.) You can adjust any of the setting through the remote. It is very responsive, but must be pointed directly at the front of the fan. There is a really nice ambient light towards the bottom of the fan. The style of the light and fan is modern and sleek. The fan is quiet when it's running. It's easy to just leave on and let the air circulate and be more healthy just by having the fan running.
This is a very nice fan. I set the fan about 20 feet away from my chair could and feel the cool breeze. This made the room feel a lot cooler. I had the fan set on 12 it is still very quiet, and if you turn it down to 8. I couldn’t hear it at all. This fan also filters the air and with my allergies this is another plus.
didn't expect Midea bladeless tower fan to be an excellent fan that delivers as expected results, which is cheaper and has the same functionality as expensive ones. The fan is also has a HEPA filter which indeed perfect for me as I have allergies. This fan has a smartwind feature. Smartwind feature either a startup or shutdown function depends on the wind changing according to the air temperature. In the current changing room climate, the indicator light will on, and the fan wind will adjust according to the environment temperature change. The mode selection is also very nice in that you can switch between average current, which you can set 0-12 speed. Sleep wind is placed 1-3, and the baby wind that you can't hear any noise from the fan but still gives enough air to cool down. The HEPA filter can be purchase separately but not that much of the cost and by the way the remote can be attached to the fan. Why settle for those expensive ones in the market? Better grab Midea Bladeless fan, and you can have the same results, and most importantly, you could save more money for other expenses.
Even at fast speeds its not loud,Ive had it for about 2-3 months and it works great. You should get the warranty because it doesnt have a plugin 12V adapter like the other midea fan does.So just incase it breaks you dont want $200 to go down the drain.
The box is huge! The fan is big and tall, so it took a lot of styrofoam to protect it. The family was super excited about the huge space age looking fan. It does push a decent amount of air and is fairly quiet for its size. It has a nice display that also shows the temperature. The display does fades to black so it's not annoying. The fan has an adjustable rotation, and everything is also controllable by the remote. The remote is magnetized and sits on the bottom of the fan. Overall, it's a tall, slick looking fan. It works great!
This Midea electric bladeless tower fan came well packaged and fully assembled, except for installing the HEPA filters and the batteries in the remote. A fan (other than ceiling fans) isn't something that I use very often, except in my garage. Don't care for the noise. Don't even like listening to the exhaust fan in the bathroom after a shower. Saw this, and thought I'd give it a shot. Certainly not silent, but much quieter than a bladed fan. 12 speeds? Maybe a little overkill, but I like it. Noise is more noticeable on speeds above 5. The remote is a nice touch. Never thought I would need a remote for a fan, but I find myself using it quite a bit. There are sleep functions, and 'baby fan' settings, and silliness like that that are explained in the description, but those won't be anything that I will use. I live in Florida, and keeping a house cool in the summer is not inexpensive. I have zero doubt that this fan will allow me to keep the thermostat set a couple of degrees warmer. The upper base of the fan has a cool blue light strip that can be turned on or off. I've not had a bladeless fan before, and I was kind of concerned about air movement. Not a problem at all. It actually moves much more air than any bladed fan that I've used in the past, with far less noise. Really the only concern I have is that I noticed, in reading through the manual, that there is a one-year warranty. In order to make a warranty claim, you need the original receipt and you have to ship the unit to New Jersey at your expense, and they will open it, or do whatever they do and decide whether it's a manufacturer defect or not. Not a 'fan' of that policy. To be honest, if it were to croak, I would probably just buy another one, put the broken one in the box and return it for a refund. That way, you wouldn't be without a fan for however many weeks it takes them to make their decision and ship you a new one.
Nice fan to be fair, but you can NOT set/adjust the temperature for the automatic feature that is supposed to turn the fan on/off/up/down. a review specifically said your dl can do this and you just cannot l can't. I was unable to even figure out the default temperature that the fan keys off to adjust fan speed l. If you don't care about the automatic feature then you will probably like this fan, but for the price that feature was key for me.
All I can tell you is that I found out there are No Replacement Filters. I called Midea, which does not do filters for there units and told me to contact Encompass: "We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Please note the filter is now out of stock on Encompass as well as Walmart. We apologize for any inconvenience caused." Okay, so now what?? I shot off another email to Midea stating my understanding, then, is that Midea is never going to have filter replacements available... let's see what Midea says.
