Solid performer, quick setup, quiet operation, dries a 200 year old leaky basement with ease. Delivered in less than 15 hours; astounding! Very satisfied.
I was very pleased with my new dehumidifier.it works great
[Employee of walmartcanada] Works fine. Doesn't get too hot and moves a lot of air. Has a drain hose outlet in addition to a tank. Brought the basement humidity down to 57% from 66% in 24 hrs.
Easy to set up. Worked well immediately.
I just bought this yesterday. Easy set up, well packaged, includes both garden hose connection and a smaller vinyl tube connection to the pump to get water up out of a basement window if needed. Well thought out and has an auto-defrost. That was important for my Minnesota, USA basement. The main air filter was easy to see and clean. It did say the pump inlet in the tank should be cleaned by unscrewing two easy screws and lifting the pump out. The 50-pint capacity has the power to stay on top of humidity during laundry day. I would buy this again, but I don't use the smart-phone full tank alert. Handy for those who would use it.
Florida resident here. I didn’t expect a dehumidifier to make such a difference, but the Midea 22-pint really surprised me. Since using it, I’ve had fewer aches, better sleep, and my home feels less stuffy. Humidity dropped from around 74% to 40% within hours. It also makes the house feel cooler without changing the thermostat. I was so impressed I bought a second one for the bedroom and bathroom. The air feels crisp, and I breathe easier with it running.
A challenging start but unit is now doing what I purchased it to do. I needed technical help.
It is pretty loud and cranks out a lot of heat. The pump hose is supposed to be disconnected after emptying which makes the Bluetooth controls and self pumping function a bit useless.
I bought the product because it included a hose to drain into a floor drain. A very small hose for the pump was included but not a larger one for the floor drain. Fortunately my old dehumidifier had a large hose I could use. I have no way to complain and get the hose. I have had it for a couple days and it seems to work.
I received this Midea 50 Pint Smart Access Dehumidifier with Built-in Pump for free in exchange for my honest review. When I first set it up in March 2024, I was really impressed. It handled the Florida humidity well, and the built-in pump made it effortless to maintain. Unfortunately, over time it has become unreliable. The unit now shuts off randomly and constantly gives “bucket full” error codes, even though the drainage line and pump are properly connected. I have tried cleaning, resetting, and troubleshooting, but the issue keeps returning. It is disappointing because I truly loved how it performed at first, but long-term reliability seems to be a problem.
