Midea 6000 BTU Room Window Air Conditioner Remote Control Energy Star

I live in a trUler so it always hot in here.. I plugged the conditioner in soon as I got it.. I like that it took my hottest room in house an made it comfortable to stay in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire unit is light enough for one person in reasonable shape to install, should the need arise; however, be careful when handling the back of the unit, as the metal there can be easily bent. It came with the parts required for filling in the empty gaps on the sides of the air conditioner and screws to keep everything in place. The included remote control makes it easy to control any of the device settings from a distance. This operates more quietly than the unit we used previously. It can keep our 350 square foot home/office nice and cool, with the breeze flowing through the entire area. The unit will periodically turn on the fan when in econ mode, and not actively cooling, to circulate the air in the room to get the current temperature. When leaving for any duration of time, you can set it to sleep, which will slowly increase the temperature in the room without turning off the unit. Cleaning the filter is made super easy with the front panel that pulls out to reveal the filter.

It literally took 5 minutes to cool off with temperatures that was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Will definitely reccomend this to family and friends.

This unit was extremely easy to put in and now we can work in the shop and be cool! I love the remote control feature and don't find it to be loud! Has many different features that are helpful, such as alert when filter needs to be changed and the timer!

This air conditioner met all my wants and needs when it comes to keeping the area nice and cool! This is a 6,000 btu so it will cool a nice size room with ease and it comes with a remote so how easy is that! The installation was not hard at all and I had it installed pretty quickly. I thought that the air conditioner was not loud at all so no need to have the tv volume turned up while it was on. I really like that it is energy star rated so I dont have to break the bank to keep cool and most importantly I am cool and comfortable which is the most important thing for me!

I love that it has a remote and I can be sitting across the room to turn it on and get it going. It is easy to adjust the temp. and set up the way you want it. No getting up, just relax and push a button! I really am loving it.

It is very quiet, and cooled down my room very quickly. I love the remote control feature to turn it off. I like that it has the abilty to be set in different modes for energy saving, or sleep mode, as well as a timer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Midea window air conditioner works excellent, we put it in our bedroom window. We did have to purchase a window sealant because our windows open side to side rather than up and down before installing it. The remote and timer are very convenient and I really enjoy this I'm my bedroom.
