We use this fan with our air conditioner, and trust me when I tell you that the room gets cooler and the my bill has been lower because the air conditioner is less strained!!! Would highly recommend for anyone without central air, or if you just need air flow. Not only that but it's quiet, I can control the speed/direction from my phone! Super convenient.

Whisper quiet until you turn the speed way up. oacillates vertically and horizontally, which is cool naldo a big plus for me is that it works with Google home, so I can activate it with my voice.

really nice fan, many nice features including the wifi to control with your google home. looks great as well. this fan has a very easy front and back removal of grill to clean, along with a filter to catch dust. nice remote as well, takes regular aaa batteries instead of the coin which is more easy to replace. only thing i would change is would like the fan to adjust telescopic so you can do custom height. this just has two height options.

This is an amazing fan if you're willing to spend the time configuring either Google Smart Home or Alexa. It has a wonder feature called "Double Zone Wind Sense". What this means in practice is you can have have the fan point at one location (one side of the bed), tell it to blow on that location and then swing to a second location (your spouse on the other side of the bed) and repeat the process. Configuring this allows you to set it to rotate up and down at a specific angle as well as the horizontal motion described above. You can also set the fan speed to different levels when it blows on each location. For example, I prefer the fan speed set to 8 on my side of the bed and my wife prefers it set to 12 when it blows on her. Putting this in front of a window unit air conditioner has been a game changer to us this hot summer. I dont know if I would recommend it if you dont plan to use the smart home features; the remote is a little complicated and not as feature rich as what you can do when you connect it to your smart phone.

**IMPORTANT READ FULL REVIEW** My review of the fan itself is stellar, it is whisper quiet, strong for its size, full of great features with a decent control app. Its easy to clean and consumes little energy. I highly recommend the fan. BE WARNED! Midea is one of the companies that does not offer or support the customer in returns of items for any reason even while under warranty. This includes their other companies like Pelonis. For someone to try to utilize their Midea manufacturer's warranty in this situation will cost them upfront at least $150 in shipping cost alone to Midea. Then if Midea are not able to diagnose the issue or find it, they will charge the consumer to ship the item back. Also do not look for much support after an item's warranty expires with Midea. For the most part you will be met with a simple but cold "Your item is no longer under warranty, sorry but we cannot help you." I find most Midea products to be quality in all honesty. Also their outsourced support agents have been attentive, but their support practices I do not agree with at all. I highly recommend purchase of a SquareTrade/Allstate/Walmart extended warranty and bypass dealing with Midea all together.

The fan at lower levels is very hard to feel when it goes up to 12. It is very loud. I have a pelonis tower fan and I do like the the control of how it works a whole lot better than Midea Midea is taller by a little bit, which is nice but the controls and the way it works on the Pelonis fan is so much better

for a fan that goes up to 12 this fan does not put out a lot of air at all
