So far used about 9 days, cleared some 3/8" to 1/2" puddles all along my basement perimeter with only this and a single 10" fan to circulate the air (Most important for effectiveness) the Dehumidifier did its job as well as well as any well rated one I know of. It could have done it even faster if I had more fans to get the moisture in the air so it could then be removed. I am very impressed. And I would recommend this to my friends. Great in the 'next room' upstairs, not for - in the bedroom - if noise sensitive. But in the laundry room, it could very well replace the cloths dryer... I am not kidding about that!
Live in humid Florida and this unit has been able to keep my place at 40% humidity. I usually have to empty the bin every 2 or 3 days. I thought about the 22 pints one but then I would have to empty the container daily.
The first 7 months were great. Worked perfectly lowering the humidity from 70 to 55% and holding. About a week ago I checked it because it was running at 66% humidity but no water was in the bucket. No obstructions, filter is clean and the fan sounds great but no more dehumidification. Disappointing that it failed so soon, hopefully the warranty is decent!
The main reason I bought this is the pump feature and secondary the smart functions. While this unit still dehumidifies the pump doesn't work and I see nothing anywhere on the internet about this issue. I can't be the only one. I'll have to crack open this unit blindly and take out pump and see what is wrong with it. The pump quit working after only one summer season. To recap, pump enabled, filter clean, pump pickup tube drops down into reservoir, reservoir is full and unit shuts off when full.
The pump stopped working after a 10 months. I get P2 error but cleaning the filter, the pump's filter doesn't solve the issue. The water gets accumulated in the tank despite the pump operating, and once the tank fills, the dehumidifier stops working. This is not supposed to happen if the pump works. And the worse thing is they don't have service in Canada.
I bought this dehumidifier because I trusted the brand to deliver a quality product. They did not. As the title states the pump on the model does not empty the bucket fully, in fact it leaves it nearly 75% full, a significant detail that was never mentioned in the manual or product description. You can see in the picture the exact level to which the bucket empties just by looking at the line of mold growth. The mold to grows in the bucket unabated and may sicken your family members especially if they have any respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD, like my mother-in-law. This is a dangerous product that should be taken off the market or replaced with one where the pump either bypasses the bucket or always empties it fully.
I bought this item Summer of 2023 & the pump quit working about 3 months ago. The unit kicks off when the bucket is full because the pump will no longer work. The pump & air filters are clean & I have verified the water line is clear. Very frustrated! I made mistake buying this unit.
As for so many others, it made it 17 months and then died to be sent to the land fill. What a waste of resources. Emptying the water is messy and spills/drips frequently. Does a great job removing water from the air.

I paid top dollar thinking I would get a high quality product. I live in New England and we have high humidity summers and I need a consistent and dependable unit. This is no longer working after only a year. I had a small, inexpensive GE unit prior to this, it worked for 20 years! Wish I had kept it!
