Wonderful product

TroyTx March 6, 2026

I've had this ac unit for 2 years and it's been great! I use it in my transit van at night and weekends to keep my pastries cool. It brings the van down to 66° at night. I've had zero issues with it. Only thing was that today I broke the end of the hose that goes thru the window when I pulled it too tight. I'd but this item again! Troy

Works great. Lots of adjustments. Easy to use and made my main living-dining-kitchen room comfortable.

Great little unit! Perfect for my situation

Eric August 23, 2024

I work from home where I have 3 computers located and multiple monitors, along with a small refrigerator. Its not feasible to run my home A/C to keep up with one room that stays warm to hot. This unit has been going strong for about 4 yrs now, and it does everything it says. I regularly clean the filters, and it rocks the cool air on the hottest days to keep my home office comfortable. While I haven't had the need, I would not hesitate to roll this unit out into my house if needed. It does a great job and I would totally recommend.

Operation of 14000 btu floor a/c

Donald July 5, 2024

I'm not understanding why the unit sounds like the fan slows down when I have it on constant high speed. It seems to cool fine . I have it set to cool @ 70 with fan on high and constant

Very quiet and efficient

Jeff June 6, 2024

Does a great job cooling my old 1878 Victorian upstairs bedrooms. Wish the manual was in the app. On that note the app is filled with other products and useless info. They should take a page from Nest.

Have had this unit for two years and it doesn't cool anymore especially when it hits 90 degrees or higher with high humidity.

Horrible and annoying

Xeon May 24, 2025

I bought this one a year or two ago. Ive bought multiple others since then, and most are fine. But my oldest one is struggling. It keeps beeping every 5 minutes and resetting, sometimes even changing the temperature. It semi works and I can still use it, but I can't at night since it's just so awful. A simple AC should not make this much beeping. It started around last year, but I assumed it was just the outlet since the outlets in my place were bad. I recently set them back up for this summer, and the problem has just gotten worse. I've checked everything, cleaned everything out, made sure that the humidity in my room wasn't too bad, ect. And the fact that other people have had the same issue with the beeping seems like it is a recurring flaw with just the device itself. I highly don't recommend.

The item I was sent came heavily damaged from the seller. So I had to return it. Was sent with missing parts, no packing materials, and a heavily damaged box with literally no bottom (just lots of tape). Awaiting refund.

Device keeps power cycling; No help from Customer Service

Stephan July 8, 2022

I have had this device for a little bit over a year now, and have always had issues with it. When I got it initially I was blow away by how loud the unit was; it didn't have a normal hum, but a weird shuttering noise. It was very hot when I got it so I decided to suck it up and used it anyway. I always had to plan out when I could run it, as it was too loud to run while sleeping. Very quickly another issue started, after running for a bit, all lights would flash on the unit, and it would stop and start. This used to happen maybe once an hour, but now happens about every 5 minutes as seen in the video. It's not a huge inconvenience, other than that it takes 10 min for the AC to work again (the AC compressor is only allowed to start up every so often) , but it makes a loud beep when it power cycles like this, and you can't shut it off, so its always loudly beeping away, keeping you awake at night. Just to note, the water tank gets emptied regularly and the air filter is also clean. There is also no extension cord or power strip being used. I have talked to the customer support and they told me because I have had the unit for a year, they don't care and I should see an AC repair man. They didn't even try to trouble shoot to figure out what was happening. Thoroughly disappointed; Will not be purchasing a Midea product again and will be sure to advise friends and family to not trust them with your money.
