Even on super hot days, it cools the room fast and keeps it comfy. It came in a huge box but was easy to open. It was easy to download the app and to get it started cooling my home off! I live the different setting options and that it's smart and came with a remote and that I can control it from the app as well. It's also not too big either. Works well as an air conditioner. Was able to chill a large room and even another room. Easy to install. User manual comes with detailed instructions and includes instructions for vinyl windows and wood windows. Very secure. Filter is easy to remove and clean. perfect size and hopefully will keep us cool all summer.... Nice A/C Model and perfect for summer

I connected this to my Alexa and everything works perfectly, I like that I can control it from anywhere using the voice assistant, I can turn it on before I get in the house from work and already cool down the house, it also has sleep mode and programmable timer, it is not also providing cool but it also dehumidifies and ventilates.

App control with voice command through Alexa is really cool and easy to use. We would definitely buy another. We have an additional building that will need a portable Ac unit and will choose Midea. It's a heavy unit and will need some secure woodworking for those of us that are upgrading to a bigger unit but once it's in I was able toset it up before hubby put away the tools. I love the voice control feature so much, you don't have to get out of the bed to get it changed. If you happen to forget you left it on, you can turn it off with the app. Living in the humid south, I was extatic to see it even has a humidifier. And the filter is easy to clean and change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since Hurricane Katrina, I have vowed to always have a window unit somewhere in my house. Although I have central A/C, if the power goes off, I can hook the window to a generator and keep one room cold and comfortable. A few years ago, my husband and I decided during summer, we would turn off the big air at night and use a window unit in our bedroom, because we like it freezing cold to sleep. We also like the white noise. This unit replaced a slightly larger unit. It's is a lot quieter. But still gives enough noise to block out sound. We love the app feature for control since we always lose the remotes. Also like that the LED panel can turn off. My only "dislike" is that I wish the noise was a little louder, but that's not a deal breaker.
